Whats blooming part 5
From another Leo, Welcome! I'm sure you'll have fun here.
Hippi - marvellous name, and welcome. Let us know what your gardening interests are so we can all jump in with lots of interest and ideas! Oh, goody, another garden to look at - yum.
Some colours don't show well in a picture. this Clematis (Mikelite) is not pink - it's a deep plum with pale yellow anthers.
It's climbing the fence in the area that will be the dedicated PNW garden. Hoping that I am able to get it cleared & soil work done prior to Winter. At that point I will post a request for names of your personal faves (shrubs, perennials, grasses, annuals) to be planted here.
This will give me something to look forward to when the dark, cold days of winter are upon us...
MMMMM wonder what happened to her, maybe something happened. She has dial up. Will check on her.
Maybe we overwhelmed her.
Tills
Im new at all of this, and yes Tilly I am overwhelmed. It may take me a little while
to catch on. Thank You all for welcoming me in, .
Beautiful garden Katye. Love the reds.
Hi Hippi -
Welcome!! We were all overwhelmed at some point, but once we found our favorite spots to settle into (yes, it's like walking into a big library), we all relaxed a bit.
Feel free to pop in with your questions or comments wherever. We are a pretty easy bunch and the rules are few (like "be nice to others").
Kathy
Kate - awesome pictures. I just love your reds. I'm amazed at the Amaranth.
You'd better put a lock on that gate - never know when Auntie Kathy may come sneaking in for a clipping or two . . .
Bea, those blue delphiniums are absolutely fantastic. Very refreshing to look at an a hot afternoon.
Gorgeous pix, all.
Tills ~ What a wonderful gift you've given. Hippi. . .welcome to PNW. You will find very helpful and welcoming people here, full of knowledge and insight and more than willing to share it AND their plants!
Bea. . . LOVE the blue delphs.
Kate ~ I feel the need for a midnight "plant liberation" raid at your place. Coup efforts will be coordinated between Kathy and I?
Holly ~ Love the potentilla. Is the color in the picture true? I really like it a lot! BTW, got quite a few really nice strawberries from the plants, which are growing very well and sending out runners now. Should I let them run or cut them this year?
Here's my latest stuff. . .the last of the NOID asiatics. I think I like this one the best. . .of course, because it's PINK!
