Sometimes I'm so sorry that I'm not working there anymore. Years ago we used to get free software from the vendors, but employees started to copy it and give to friends. The freebies stopped real quick. We also had a substantial employee discount. I was working at one time, 60+ hours a week (I was a manager) and didn't really have time to get into a lot of the software. Now I have lots of time. LOL
Sally, I love the way you embelish your pictures, especially the Epicia Strawberry Patch with the little pink heart and the AV Sugar Plum with the heart on a chain. PRICELESS.
You really should watermark your photos so they can't be used by unscrupulous people.
There are messages on Epiforums where people who sell on Ebay are using other people's photos to sell their plants. I found a free program called Picture Shark that will let you put your name on the photo. I haven't done it yet to any of my pictures, but have played with the program. It's neet. Also thanks for the link for the downloads.
August Blooms Part 1
Susan, not matter what their names are, they are beautiful. I especially like the 2nd pic., the purple one. Thanks for sharing.
I moved every single strep I had today..............yours look great, Susan. I am too lazy or I would get the camera and show my new setup.............That Michael is great. Love Double Trouble and all the rest...never get tired of looking at streps.
edited to say that Smooched is the best of all!

I wanted to tell you all that I do know the names of most of my plants its just after I take the pictures and then download them in another room I forget them...LOL
Hope you enjoyed the show...
Hugs,
Susan
I have a question? How do you tell if you have a young plant of AV if it is a trailer? I have one now that has two crowns in it and I am not sure if it is a big one or a trailer...
Also I posted a picture of a leaf growing on top of a leaf then today I found two leaves growing together I thought I could pull them apart but I could not....
Hugs,
Susan
Wonderful pictures, Susan!!!
Imadigger. Yes, you can watermark, but if someone wants to steal pictures they can. You can "fix" a watermark. They don't look pretty either. ha.
I enjoy enhancing my violet photos and if someone wants to steal, I really doubt I can change them.
Thank you very much ^_^ I am to please...LOL If I had to take the time to use PSP for my pictures I would never get to post any pictures...LOL I do play with pictures of the family and things...LOL
Hugs,
susan
Wow, Susan, that is hard to tell you without looking. Most african violets do sucker badly and form new crowns when they are young so you have to really watch them closely. Without a picture or a name I don't know if you just have a double crown which is not good.......or if you have a trailer.......sorry.........
SuzyQ: What a great picture show! I am really enjoying all your beauties! I got leaves of Strep Silvia in a trade with Begoniacrazii recently ... I am hoping, but you know me and Strep's ... so far I've had absolutely no luck with them ... zero, zip, zilch, nada! LOL. But, I'm still trying! Silvia is really pretty, I would be thrilled if my leaves produce babies instead of rotting as they usually do!
Great pic's!
Susan - very pretty. Like this one: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=5396764
Here are two of the 4 AV's I got from Violet Barn earlier this year (other 2 are not currently blooming!).

Wow those are so cute... I am thinking the one I have is not a mini one as they are much bigger then those already... I am going to do the cut tomorrow and see if it lives... I will take a picture in the morning...
Nic, your pictures are just so pretty.... I can see why people like them... they are just to cute... That purple one I believe is Sugar plum if I am not mistaken... but I could be ..I am brain dead...LOLOL
Hugs,
Susan
Wow! Pretty AV's you have there Syru! I really love that one called Rob's Chilly Willy with that variegated foliage! Irish Flirt has always been a favorite of mine. At one time I thought about buying every Irish named AV in memory of my Mom. She was so proud of our Irish heritage.
That Night Beacon Strep is really, really, pretty! Love the color of that bloom!
Thanks Nancy ... we did have a nice Anniversary!
Pretty flowers Syrumani!
Those Rob's Chilly Willy are hard to grow as they sucker so badly. You have really done an outstanding job with the minis!
