Seed Sprout Nursery Closing?

Palestine, TX(Zone 8b)

I just bought seeds from RubilineXPeanut from Brenda. My first time to deal with her. You all gave her such rave reviews I wanted to try her.
I love to grow stuff from seed, so I can hardly wait to see what I get.

Hubbard, OR(Zone 8a)

What ever happened with this. Did she close?? The site link seems to be down still.

Seale, AL(Zone 8b)

Not 100% sure, but think she had some brugs on Dg Market place for sale.

Yes Jeremiah, Seedsprout is currently out of business. Who knows what the future may bring..

Brenda is extremely happy, getting her farm together!

What a bummer, I wish her well!! Good Luck Brenda!

Clermont, FL(Zone 9b)

She will be missed for sure!

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

I bought most of my brugs. from Brenda, she is going to be missed by most of us. I have had the opportunity to talk to her recently and she sounded very busy but happy.
I am so happy for her.

Finding someone who will send out plants the size Brenda did is going to be impossible. I'm glad to hear she is enjoying life.

I just love her seeds they have sprouted and will send her pics of her crosses as they develop

Thanks Debra, she will appreciate pics of her babies. Not many people report back to the hybridizer.

You're so close.. did you get to the flower show yet.. I drove down yesterday to it about 8 AM.. when I got there.. there was meter parking right down at the front door. a great place to go out to every two hours for a smoke break... and it was empty inside the hall.. at lest for the first few hours.. Bella Italia was the theme.. and the only brugs were seeds for growing a white suaveolens packaged in England..
check the Philadelphia Enquier.. for me talking up brugs..
edited to update...
OH.. I saw article she wrote not any mention of anything.. except for her question.. about getting ideas from the show.. her thought was it was beyond the scope of gardeners to recreate the Italian theme in their gardens.... her question to me was well.. you won't be erecting the columns you see here in your garden.. will you.. I replyed I have 4 fluted columns already.. on my roof top.. then explaining about brugmansias.. but that flew in the face of her preconceived thought of not having them.. so her article left out the counter reality.. and any mention of the plantings also...

Darn Gordon, I wish I had known you were going!!! I went on the first day, and then I was off all of last week. we could have met and done lunch or something.

The orchids and lilies were gorgeous!!!!!!

It did not smell al nice as it usually does though. Not too many hyacinths, that I remember.

OH.. I'd have loved to have met up for lunch.. great eatting near there for sure.. got an atlantic chowder to go home... I usually like to go the first non weekend day.. best form in the flowers.. and the vendors have a pile of stuff.. restocked from the weekend..Got up though.. and we were still storming.. but I braved the roads.. knowing it would keep the pestey crowds at bay... it was so wonderful.. to be able to see across the hall to other areas.. although I didn't like it as much as years past either.. maybe it was the lack of aroma .. or the paying down of the tropicals.. always love the flower art.. crafts ..
One of the vendors was funny... they were all over us as there were so few folks walking through when we did, as we did them first thing in the AM.. on their snw day.. one said..so my friend....what have you tried to do to keep the deer from your flowers / plants ... come on in and see a better approach... had to tell him I keep everything 50 ft above the ground.. on my roof.. and it seems to be working to keep the deer away.. I've never seen the signs of any there... maybe a blooming brug.. I think there were a few last year..
I'd like to see a true tropical theme.. one year.. more difficult to be sure.. but it's still an impressive display this year..
we'll meet up again sometime soon..
