This is lavatera. Different from my white one last year. I like the notch in the petals.
Garden Photos - Part 28
Those are both beautiful!
Thanks Celeste, for the weed ID and the Oso compliment.
Dyane and Pixie thanks, I'll look around on the grounda little more thoroughly when I get home in a few days to see if I can find the tag, or maybe I filed the name somewhere. The squirrels took most of my tags from that area thinking that I had left them shiny presents. If I'm lucky I'll find their cache around the trees nearby
Excellent picture of the hummer moth Victor. Were you lying on the ground or what? Or maybe your camera has one of the viewfinders that rotate?
No, that buddleia is huge so he was up near the top.
love the last lily picture Pixie!
Good to know Victor, I was imaging contortions of sorts.
I've done that too!
a true photographer with imagination!
Dang if one didn't know better, It looks more like an eaten JM leaf than it does a hibiscus!
They don't leave any waste, do they?!

Practicing your Jamaican, Jo Anne?? Love that thalictrum, Shelly. Mine did not return. Nice hosta, Bev.
