AuntB, Bonnie, you still have not checked on that greenhouse! That was a month ago, and we got so busy talking we forgot about it. Okay, I know you are going to DS girlfriends graduation, etc., etc. but after you get home, we are going to let you have it until you at least ask. You never know until you ask... And Chrissy, glad to see you here. I wanted to show you-all my little seedlings. Kim, some are from your batch of seeds. I have at least 1 that has Y'd and many are getting so big, I can't beleive the size of some of the leaves. I haven't fertilized enough so some of the leaves are a bit yellow. I need to do better.
Just wanted to share. I am going to start a thread of my yard, and some of my pots. Hope you all enjoy, cool off for a bit, put your little mister fan on you and sit back and relax.

Here is a grouping of a few of them that are potted in 5 gallon pots. The larger pots have 2-3 year old brugs.
This is looking east from the street. Everything is in post except the roses.
Look at the previous picture. I can not believe the one in the center with the huge leaves. I planted the seed Jan 21st. It just keeps growing up.

I started some of the seeds Jan 21st and others Feb 20th and others later. They are all going nuts. I love it.

they gave me 2 bags of ivs....but couldnt hook me up to dg...sio i eleced to come home instead! lol. im only allowed popsicles and ice and to sip stuff. oh and yucky icky jello... but i had toast instead. dh has been wonderful. he knowes about heat stroke so he knew i wes sick befroe i did. took me right to the hospital. i have to go back for lab stuff tomorrow but temp stayed normal today. tthankfully. he said when i get up and move around i look pale so sent me back to bed :o(
tried to get him eto take a pix of the brug, but hes lousy with camera and its too blurry. i can see its not open tho.
Anjl, you really had a bad one! Let him wait on you, you deserve it! If you don't take it easy, you may end up back in the hospital! Will they let you have icecream? How about sherbet? Anything to get the fluids back in you!

Mornin hotties! Anjl I am glad you are on the mend! Just what did you do to get heatstroke? It is going to get hot here today. 97 with index of 108. MyRee, that is some brug forest you have going there! I planted my seeds in March and My biggest ones are three feet tall already. I have to take some new pics, they are growing so fast! None of mine have y'd yet. I keep looking. They vary alot in size and are divided into two distinct leaf shapes. Mine are pink beauty and ecuador pink crosses and a very sweet dger sent me some more babies peach and white crosses and flirtation.
I miss the hottie fun, I hate working nights! Be back on days later this week, yay!

Oh, I'm just GROOVIN in the garden these days!! I ALMOST don't want to go on vacation!! (I'm okay, I've admitted my addictive tendencies)
These are the ones I'm putting in the front of the house. I don't want to have to repot them again.
Mine are all looking a little sad & drooppy most of the day... too hot!

Okay, you'll are really making it bad for the rest of us 90s and rain, oh my. I just went to the bank and their thermometer read 105. Talk about a hottie!! This is the time of year around here I just try to keep everything alive. In about a month when it usually starts to cool, then everything springs back and really starts to grow again.
But some of the other small cities around have started water rationing, usually every other day, but one town is enforcing absolutely no outdoor watering. Yikes!! Those poor gardeners...

Aw Peggy, you rest. It's still cloudy, rainy and "cool" for summer.. had some wind at home after I left for work.... something with the umbrella and a plant.... didn't quite understand which pot it was.. but Mel called in with an "alert" report a couple hours ago... What do those poor gardeners do, Peg? My brugs would die without water at LEAST 1X a day... I'd have to haul water in milk jugs or something. MMMmmm beans and jalepeno cornbread, YUM!
Bonnie.. at Lowes.. you can get the kit with everything you need for 50' for $30.00... just hook it up to your faucet.. The timer was $30.00 also.. I think.. I got 3 kits.. I figured that was cheaper than getting everything seperate... Yeah.. I am superwoman..LOL.. I don't think so!! DH will install.. IF I have any plants left.. after he steps on them!!
