Ronnie - I hope you get a lot of seeds of all of your gorgeous blooms! :-)

It's so great to see blooms for some of you who have been waiting such a long time this season for them! Your patience and diligence was beautifully rewarded!

Norfolk, VA

George Strait sounds like a country music artist to me, one of my favorites

Tony - Maybe Emma will tell you the story behind that name. :-)

Joseph . . .

I would LOVE to have seeds of your Janett's Chocolate JMG
Wow - this is so beautiful!

Wow, VERY NICE

Ronnie . . .
What a Show Off!
Great Blooms

This one looks like one of many sports of my Henka Asagao Blue-Type
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=5349950

It is a heavy bloomer and the blooms should all be the same. It is a great color I think.

Your George Strait Blue/Purple stayed True
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=5349954
If the Pink is from the George Strait seeds then it is a *new one*
I haven't grown one that looked like that
GORGEOUS!
George is also a very heavy bloomer too.

George Strait is also a sport of my Henka Blue-Type and has stay true for 3-years [except for this Pink one that it threw]

This one doesn't look like President Bush -
Even though President Bush has not remained True and has been producing some really pretty MGs.
To me this looks like Lavender Chiffon which is a sport of Lavender Mist - so I must have gotten another stray seed in those seeds.
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=5349965
I hope you like Lavender Chiffon. I love it, and it blooms its heart out for you.

This Youjiro x ??? is a keeper
http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=5349970
I assume this is the plant I sent to you?
I have gotten quite a few crosses from that one Yagaruma growing in with the other nils, so it must have some really strong genes.

One that I grew that is also a cross is China Doll x Youjiro Yagaruma. Same Variegated leaves as yours with a smaller bloom that looks exactly like China Doll. Another is a Solid Very Pale Pink that again has the Variegated Youjiro Leaves. Two others still haven't bloomed yet.

Your Bloom is AWESOME - I love it!

This one looks like it has some Rebecca in it

Great Bloom.

Tony . . .
Yes, named my George Strait MG after 'The Man'. Just thought we needed some guy names on MGs.

Gray Haze SPLIT PETAL - Only had three of these blooms and all three pods fell off :-(
Hopefully will have more of these blooms. Also, look at how unusual the leaves are

Ronnie - I am very interested in this type of dilution that is occurring on the reddish purpurea here
http://pics.davesgarden.com/pics/luvsgrtdanes_1217539978_457.jpg
if this dilution continues you will wind up with a reddish version of rebecca and / or a red joyce cobb and it would deserve a new name...

additionallt, the reddish pigmented purpurea rarely have pigmentation extending deep down into the tube...

This one NEEDS to be selfed and grown out properly (!)

Please put a few seeds aside for me...

TTY,...

Emma love that gray haze of yours!!! OMG!

I will put a new label on the now lavender chiffon. yes I love it!! The Youjiro x is the one you sent me and I hope I get some seeds.

I will do my best to get some seeds of the reddish one. I will send them out for others to pollinate for me and then of course I will get to give it the new name!! ☺ If I get more blooms OH maybe I can give it a try it makes me nervous!! LOL

Jacksonville, TX(Zone 8a)

Thanks Ronnie -

That Reddish MG is a real keeper. Can't wait to see more photos of it.
