Ha!
Patti, not sure about the clivia but I've seen others in bloom now at nurseries! Do you have a name for the light pink dl with the green throat?? Love that blended orange and red, too. Lust-It never ends folks!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow - so many stunning shots. Gorgeous, booj, and thanks. Your DL's and orchids are great. Patti - so many DL's, and bugs too!

Nantucket, MA(Zone 7a)

Boojum, raining finally so not out to see if I put the tag in, but according to my memory and journal (more reliable) it is Katy's Blue' (M) 36" 5.5 Soft lavender-blue petals w/sunny yellow throat from Hill Garden of Me, now out of business. I will but it on my list of plants to bring to you in the fall if I have a division. This was a picture of it on July 13th. Which blended orange/red?

Off to the visit mom in Canada. Blooms galore all and only good bugs. ge1836, I hope you get some 'Satisfaction" Patti

Hey Patti-so glad you finally are getting rain. It's been raining here for 2 days but today it's perfect. Grandboyz are here. Got the little one playing in the bathtub.

I meant the third row down second from left and fourth from left. I got 3 Katy's Blue from Hill, too! I adore it.

Thanks, WNYwillieB. It really is a beautiful plant, even for the foliage alone. That is what first attracted me. It amazes me how they can grow so much and produce so many blooms in one season! The only difference I can see between mine and Kopper King is the slight veining in the bloom. Otherwise, the foliage looks identical. I would recommend it.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

Didn't see any "KK" today at the nursery, as around here they are all winding down for the season a couple weeks ago. I will have to wait until next spring to find it .... My list for spring, along with many another, I am sure, is growing and growing ......

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Bulbs are whats killing me.
I need to pay for them before I think of anymore plants. Thank goodness the 2009 catalogues don't come out next week.

Newest echie. PDD. So far it is standing tall, but I can see that the stems are not as stiff as most. I hope yours and mine will stand up tall as they get a couple years of growth behind them Victor.
