MEN ARE JUST HAPPIER PEOPLE

NICKNAMES
If Laura, Kate and Sarah go out for lunch, they will call each other Laura, Kate and Sarah.
If Mike, Dave and John go out, they will affectionately refer to each other as Fat Boy, Godzilla and Four-eyes.

EATING OUT
When the bill arrives, Mike, Dave and John will each throw in $20, even though it's only for $32.50. None of them will have anything smaller and none will actually admit they want change back.
When the girls get their bill, out come the pocket calculators.

MONEY
A man will pay $2 for a $1 item he needs.
A woman will pay $1 for a $2 item that she doesn't need but it's on sale. (Smart woman)

BATHROOMS
A man has six items in his bathroom: toothbrush and toothpaste, shaving cream, razor, a bar of soap, and a towel .

Hey, all! It's a nice 81* here this morning!
I put down snail bait last night around my little flower "garden" and in it, too. I didn't see any snails by 9:30PM. I sure hope this stops them, couldn't see that they ate any last night! I want to see some blooms! Anybody know a bloom dance?

I should know better than to take a swallow of coffee and read something Jaye has posted. Okay so my monitor is dripping. Loved every word Jaye and so very true!!!

Good morning everyone!! So far it is nice outside but as the day goes on I am sure the heat and humidity will start. After a couple of days of being afraid to climb the ladder, I will again today do that. DS stopped by to check what I had done last night!! Rolled eyes at his Mom--gonna have to do something about that kid!!!!!

OMG that is too cute! A True Pirate Lass!! Sterling did the pirate thing a couple of years ago, but she had to be a pretty pirate LOL. I threw it together from odds and ends of costumes we had around the house. Zeke was her catch of the day LOL. She is getting so grown up it's scary!!

My step-GD went to prom this past spring. She went with 4 girlfriends cause they didn't want to be tied down to just one boy! I thought that was GREAT!

I counted 19 dead slugs and 1 shells just now, on one side of the walk! I'll check the other in a min.!

Good job with the slugs and snails! That's a lot of slugs. I don't seem to have any, maybe it's because I have a toad and a snake. I don't know if either one of those would eat slugs and snails, but it's a thought anyway :-)

I have several toads, but no snake, but have lots of snails...

It's manufactored by Gro-Tec, Inc.in Madisom. Ga. It's about $6.00. Well worth the money. Any Wal*Mart or Lowe's should have some kind of snail bait!

Boy, let me tell you if something gets into my hostas after all the years I have wanted to some and never managed to get them to survive, I'd be out with the big blasters for sure!!! My even call for the steam roller again. Glad to know that works just in case I need some. Thanks Audrey.

I was a 19 year old bride the first time too....let me tell you...WAY too early.

Crissyr, if you haven't seen the toad lately, then it might have been snake snack!

Earlier this season, I thought a bee was making a really unusual sound on my beebalm. It kept getting louder, so I finally went to investigate...it wasn't the bee, it was the poor toad that had its' leg caught in a garter snakes mouth! So I poked the snake with a stick until it let go.... Hopefully it isn't footless now. I think they swallow whole, so it should have been okay, if it hopped away really, really fast!

I didn't know toads made a noise like that!
