Phyliss, what you have is a Datura. Duranta is such a similar name my sister keeps telling me to just say trumpet flower so she will know which one I am talking about.

Thanks, Lou for the site...........I just typed in Duranta for the common name and it took me nowhere at all....................how old is your shrub or bush. Once they take off, they grow so fast.......don't dare give up. I have blooms even on my two foot Duranta (purple blooms)
