Polly, your Japanese Iris are just gorgeous. Now that I know they don't need that much water, I'm going to try a few.

Amy, Do you mean 'Katherine Hodgkin' Iris. Dwarf, blooms in spring? I'm ordering them for fall planting.

Dawn, as everyone else has said, beautiful clem wall. Lovely color combo.

Tommy, great pitcher plants.

Japanese iris encompasses three varieties of irises cultivated in gardens or growing wild in Japan: hanashōbu, kakitsubata and ayame.

I like Japanese and Siberians irises better than rhyzome iris.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Knowing how generous you are, I'm sure there are many new homes for a lot of your 100! LOL

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

not sure beyond those three varieties .... Ko-somthing ..... hmmmmm

belleville, NJ(Zone 6a)

Yes, Dyane, i think that is what i meant. It blooms very early in spring. Polly, it may have been Patti that grows them (insert embarrassed face here.)

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

This tall trumpet has been teasing me for days,
today's the day

just starting when I woke up this AM

JoAnn, that's going to be a beauty. How tall is it?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

It's beautiful Jo Ann!

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Wow!
it took half an hour for me to look at all of these lovely blooms! That's what happens when I am away for a day ~ not because of dial-up.

I just had to linger over all of the beautiful blooms and mentally place them in our gardens here. Anna is always saying that there's no more room, but then she always finds room!

Allison, thank you for the clarification on the snapdragon. I looked it up following your link, and I am so happy to admit that we own that!! It's very pretty - at least the bloom is very pretty.

I may be able to get some pix later on today ... I hope.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

There are three, new last fall planted, Trumpets there all Copper Kings
The other two aren't as tall and they don't look ready to bloom, the bloomer must have found a good spot of compost and is over (just measured) 5 +1/2 feet.
here's a long shot

Really nice lily, pretty color, that’s a tall one for first season. I'd like to see it when it's fully open.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Thunderstorms comming now but I'll photo when its fully open, about two hours from now, Storm should be gone by then too.

South Coast, RI(Zone 6b)

Lucky you with the rain, I’m going change the song to; It never rains in Southern RI in the summer time. Whoops, that’s a topic for the weather thread.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)
