Amy, thanks. It's funny, not too many people like the species Japanese iris. I love it. At least now I know there's two of us that like it. Well, 3, I know Boojum loves it. She's like me, loves all the species ones.
Garden Photos - Part 22
I like em ALL!
That makes four, LOL. Most people like the blowsy ones, and the poor species dude from Russia was pouting, but no more.
Make that 5
And don't forget the Siberian Irises
The color is just extraordinary. Funny, i tend to always like the singles over doubles in most flowers...
You have such great stuff - i think you grow those strangely beautiful miniature grey irises too, with a woman's name...
Nice strong yellow. I like yellow ones ... they grow at the edges of ponds here.
I think the flag irises are pretty, too, Pixie.
Amy, I'm not sure which one you mean with a womans name, but I do grow a lot of miniature iris. Here's a siberian iris with a womans name, Careless Sally. Is that it?
Pretty liles and dayliles, Bev and Chuck!
Bev, what do you have under the orange lily? I've been looking for a good groundcover, and am trying some short geraniums, like Biokovo.
Careless Sally
pollyk, That is purple verbina. Should be very hardy for you and spreads fast. BEV
Thanks, Bev.
