Thanks luvsgrtdanes, I know what you mean. Still have some myself that have yet to bloom. My other hobby is collecting seeds when they produce & quite a few are ontheir way.

Helena - What is the name of this one? http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=5264591 Very nice indeed!

Our temps were like that about a month ago, but have been getting rain off and on through the second half of June to current. Thank goodness! The plants like the rain water so much better than my well water. My yard is really looking like a jungle now and the grass is actually GREEN instead of brown. LOL! If the rust didn't thrive in this dampness, I'd really be thrilled at all the rain we've had. I guess there is no pleasing me. lol

I hear ya about the seeds ... My April grow-outs are about done. Some of the vines have lots of seeds and others have only a few. Still got some pods ripening on the vines, but I've been collecting them for weeks. I sat last night for 3 hours shelling them, cleaning them, sorting & putting the seeds in the plastic containers to dry out further, and labeling them. I definitely got some crosses! Who hoo. Two of my vines have light tan seeds. And in some of those seed pods were some dark brown seeds. So ... can you guess what I will be growing out next? :-) Antoinette sent me some more crossed seeds from her collection of vines last Fall. Y'all know me ... I have a thing for crosses! :-) I can't wait to start this new batch of vines! :-)

Becky, that's the blue tie dye. Almost everyday it's bloom is a little different. It's been a good bloomer so far.

Sounds like you were having fun with all those seeds. I'd be looking for those different colors of seeds too. I think I have one vine that's done blooming & is just for seeds now. It surprised me b/c it didn't grow that much either. I'm thinking of cutting off the blue vine that's growing with the Velvet Plum b/c I don't want it to cross if it's possible for it to. I'll have to check out if the leaves are the same shape or not. When I planted velvet plum I thought I had 2 or 3 vines of the same. It's also kind of away from the other vines.
I'm also afraid that I'm going to get a lot of crosses cause most of my vines are close together. So I don't know if it will or not.

This is the vine that's growing with Velvet Plum http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=5235282

Here's the way I look at it Helena ... most of the MG vines came from crosses! So that's how we get all the new beautiful blooms! I haven't met a MG that I didn't like! LOL!

My Lavender Mist from Emma is blooming today, too. The flowers look identical, but mine has the heart shaped leaves. I will post pictures when I get home from work.

All your blooms are lovely Helena. The dark Fuji shibori and Kaori
are just awesome.

How gorgeous all your blooms are Helena!

I am most fond of this one: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=5267770

Deb - I look forward to seeing your heart-shaped leaf Lavender Mist blooms!

Here is my Lavender Mist. I am so glad I took the picture before work, and it is really droopy now!

The flower is not as dark a lavender as this picture shows. I am not happy at all with the colors I am getting from my camera. Time to bring out the old film camera, I think.

Don't know if it makes a difference on your camera, but---check the batteries?

This is Kannami, the color on this is way off, it is not the slightest bit pink, but is a bright red. I will get some film, and wait for the next flowers. Hopefully with the 35mm camera, I can get some true colors.

There is one flower positioned almost directly under the top one in this picture. Flowers are huge on this one!

Deb, My Lavendar Mist from last yr was a light shade too
I would be very happy with the above bloom if it was pink. I think
it's beautiful.
