Today's Weather in Your Garden - 25
Victor, totally unrelated question.
Is your camera an SLR or CDC?
Chuck
Thanks for the new thread, Victor.
And, so far, the sun has not yet burned off the cloud cover, so it is not as oppressive as it could be. I'm dreading the higher dewpoint, though! It feels like you are swimming in the air.
Maybe where you are, but not here.
But, it is creeping out now, and I am NOT thrilled about it.
Regular point and shoot, Chuck. Sony H1. I am hoping to get a dslr soon.
Guess it's JULY now
Fair 81°
Feels Like:84°
Barometer:29.87 in and falling
Humidity:70%
Visibility:9 mi
Dewpoint:70°
Wind:CALM
Sunrise:5:03 am
Sunset:8:25 pm
It's going to be a hot one..expect to hit 90 again.
Unfair here! Way too humid.
Yep - - - Humid
I'm in for the day.
On it's way to 90 65% humidity, sunny
My 5 yr old wants to go outside and play. Yeah right, you'll be doing it alone!
HOT HOT HOT !!! nuff said.
YUCK YUCK YUCK !!! nuff said
:)
Nice shot, WC. Not my kind of weather. Did a bit of cutting back - I was dying. My kids lasted about 5 minutes before they went in for an Italian ice. Wimps.
Yup HOT and MUGGY up North here as well.....all I can say is thank god for c/a!
c/a??? Is that Canadian air conditioning??!
Haha!! Central Air silly and I know you are just putting me on! Yes we actually do need central air in Canada....I know you would probably find it hard to believe but our summers do get hot!
Interesting, I didn't think Canada got hot!
Thanks Victor, took a ride to the south shore this afternoon. It was 83 and breezy, low humidity, they have it nice in the summer but regret their proximity to the ocean in the Fall & Winter...
Temp 75.9°, Rh 58%. ☺
Warm and muggy outside...warm and muggy inside. Hope I can sleep...
Heading to RI for the weekend. Hope it's coooler there. Supposed to be an over here, with the nighttime temps 70+ degrees - eeeew!
I guess I'm the wierdo in the group, heat really doesn't bother me.
Every since spending two years in SE Asia, I have never had big problems with heat.
Now with all the blood thinners I'm on, let the temp. go below 50 and I become ice, ice baby.
I tell every one I don't like any month that has a "R" in it.
Chuck
Just the opposite of oysters!
Low haze and misty rain, very heeeeeUmid
I'm going to get out there (again) whilst it is misty and cool(er). Later.
Kathy, I have never eaten an oyster. What does that mean?
74, sunny and muggy.
Out to see if the gate is being put in the right place on the new fence. I am afraid they have it wrong. grrrrrrrrrr. But I can adjust the beds to make it OK. Means more work in moving some plants and adding a few. But adding part will be fun.
Gorgeous morning. Seems breezier than yesterday which will be nicer. 74 degrees and humid. Patti
Same weather here Patti.
Thankful for a cool breeze, storms are comming. We need rain.
Just trimmed the spirea.
I need to get out in the gardens, but the kiddos and the humidity are preventing me from even stepping outside for a few minutes. It's awful out there!
We did have a gully-washer of a T-storm for about 20 minutes last evening as we were sitting down to dinner. It must have rained a good inch and a half during that time, as the front lawn turned into a 'crick'!!
Today will be a carbob copy of yesterday, but thankfully, once today's storms are done, the humidity will be gone.
Currently:
76° and climbing to 90°
Wind: S at 9
Humidity: 79%
Dewpoint: 69°
Pressure: 29.78 in. and falling!!!!
Look out for the gusty winds with the T-storms today!!
Cloudy. muggy, just gross! 84% humidity 75 degrees right now but going to 90
Yes, I was outside for a few minutes and it was disgusting.
Sticky here too, just got done mowing.
It's just stupid hot here too. Already 89 and climbing but its the mugginess that really gets you. Slight breeze helps only a little. T-storms maybe later, heard that before, like the rain not the high winds and lightening.
Celeste ~ you must be all done in but the buttons! Out mowing in this weather! My goodness!!
My neighbor behind us uses a push mower on an acre of land!! I saw him out there middle of the day when we were having the real hot hot weather. Nuts!
Never heard that term, Candyce - 'all done in but the buttons'. Cool. And Pat, I think you just created a perfect new weather term - 'stupid hot'! Not being a summer person, I love it!
Temp 85.2 Wind SW 4.5 mph, Rh 51%. ☺
Starting to get cloudy here, good thing too 'cause that sun was intense! Humidity on the rise, Baro 29.61↓.
