tiger, I think so too but the fecal sac is attached to a part of shell, these birds have very small beaks.

Has anyone ever seen a Blackbird enjoying the sun and an apple so much?
The last few nights I have seen two Wood Pigeons vying for dominance, except one doesn't seem to think it's necessary. That is the slightly smaller one, could be the son of the other from last year as it looks a little thinner.
Two nights ago the smaller one was sat on the telephone pole, the other came onto the wire at the side and wobbled about so much it couldn't do anything!
The one on the thin telephone wire had to go, couldn't hold it's balance!

I occasionally see a young Great Tit on the nuts, this one looks like it's mom with it's sweet expression.
