tiger, I think so too but the fecal sac is attached to a part of shell, these birds have very small beaks.

The last few nights I have seen two Wood Pigeons vying for dominance, except one doesn't seem to think it's necessary. That is the slightly smaller one, could be the son of the other from last year as it looks a little thinner.
Two nights ago the smaller one was sat on the telephone pole, the other came onto the wire at the side and wobbled about so much it couldn't do anything!
