f_chisolm, here's a female with 3 babies, two I can see are males and possibly the 3rd, you can see the faint grey on the head.

kniphofia, the swans are beautiful.
adelbertcat, I think the Jays must have a private cactus patch close by.
You sure have a wide range of visitors, nanny. Nice shots
burn, that puffed up robin looks like it's wearing a tutu and pantaloons! LOL! So cute!
Hi Wallaby,
have you noticed the male House Sparrow feeds the female young, while mom feeds the males?

Hi Resin, that could be so but they do look different to me, and I have seen the male with what looks like female young more than once. I don't see the female with young the same, but then after a short time she's usually off making another lot! The lot she was feeding look fresh out of the nest. Books don't know everything, and it could be like humans, takes a female to see the difference, lol.
I got this yesterday of the House Martin, day before there was egg shell removal so they have hatched! Got a couple of pics with shell in beak too in duller conditions..
Some of those might be shell fragments, but I think the first pix are fecal sack.
Very nice pics adel,GP and wallaby!
Smart little guy!
Beautiful pics Rose!
nanny, Those 2 are really sweet!
You people and your clear beautiful photos! I feel I must share my special talent of taking a photo where absolutely nothing is in focus! Baby Blue Jay preening with sibling who is behind the crepe myrtle flower. Frankly, it's amazing there are still flowers as a squirrel has been busy eating the buds off of this tree all day.
