If memory serves (and increasingly, it doesn't), this is a bush clematis.

I'm here too. Beautiful pics Victor. My coneflowers all have buds and some have color starting but no flowers really except for Coconut Lime is just getting started now. .

This is a lavender that is supposed to stay compact. In it's second year and so far so good. It is 'Violet Intrigue'.

Is this your second year with Coconut, ngam? I've been waiting to see how it does for people. Many of these new coneflowers end up being flops. I do like PDD. I just planted After Midnight, a dwarf one.

New this year, scabiosa "Ultra Violet'.

I think you can't go wrong with CL. It has come back very well and both plants look healthy and strong with lots of buds. 'After Midnight' did not return and 'Twilight' never made a lasting appearance again either. 'Harvest Moon' and 'Summer Sky' are back for the second year and look healthy and have many buds also. New ones this year all look good including 'Hope' , 'Merlot', 'Purity','Tiki Torch' and 'Fatal Attraction'. Three 'Ruby Giant' that I thought had been done in by the now fox food monster bunny have returned, although a bit smaller in size but all have set buds. Just planted 'Pink DoubleD', 'Green Envy' and 'Primadonna'. I also have one mystery coneflower that has planted itself so I am waiting to see what that one looks like. I am hoping it may be Razzmatazz, I had one that the bunny devoured so often that it finally disappeared. So the echinacea craze has hit my garden like a lot of others. Will post pics as they bloom.

This is sweet william 'Heart Attack'. It has been blooming for a long time even with the heat and humidity. This is the second year and it has doubled in size. Supposed to be more perennial than others. The color is very dramatic in the garden and it is deer resistant so far.

Thanks - please do. Twilight returned for me last year but I have not spotted it this year. Of course, I don't remember exactly where it was either! Sorry to hear that about After Midnight.

Ngam:

My Sweet William 'Heart Attack' did not make it through last winter, so I am very disappointed to not see it in my gardens this season.

Victor:

I thought you were going to the RU?

I am now watching the little ones as DD & DH go to the funeral. I went out this AM, took photos, so I wild have something to do while the little one napped.

NO ID Sedum ... although it looks a lot like Mexican Sedum, the info in PlantFiles tells me it's not hardy here. And Boy! Is it ever hardy here!!

One of Anna's co-workers gave her this stash of plants yesterday.
Some we know. Some we don't.

Allium?
I GOT IT
I GOT IT
Bet you never expected an answer on RU Sat.
It's Allium moly "Jeannine"
It came up in our garden in early May and bloomed in mid June Its short.
If not short variety then it's Allium Flavum

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I was originally planning to go, Candyce. I thought I saw your sedum ID'd on the ID forum.

I should not say this, but GC has added more plants to its list of current specials. I won't provide a link so it might be harder to resist. Unfortunately, I could not!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I almost went for a few Phlox and the Penstamon but all are full sun and I'm out of room there.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I did order them, along with heuchera, baptisia and the oso easy rose.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Yeppers!
That's the Allium and that's the Sedum.
I am always so happy when I can call a plant by its proper name.
Thank you, Jo Ann and Victor.

Well, looky here!
I have big, fat, buds on my 'Pistachio' clematis!
I am thrilled.

Ooh--sounds nice, Candyce! Loved the vivid red daylily, Victor. Hope I can print my Dr. Walter Van Fleet or whatever it is! Nope--still hunting for the file!

Well I guess that's why they call it butterfly weed. It's just opening and already a visitor has found it.
I am too quick with the button, meant to admire your little guy Candyce. A very cool pic.

Nice shots, Candyce and ngam! I had a similar one the other day, ngam.

Thanks. I just couldn't resist clicking the shutter. After all, he sat there for long enough, as if to say, "hey! Aren't you gonna take my picture?"

I love your butterly and butterfly weed photo. The colors are so brilliant!

We seem to have lost the "gardenprogress thread" so I'll post this May and June 27th picture to show what a difference a month makes

Now THAT'S progress, Jo Ann!
It looks great.

The only new thing blooming, these are some 25 cent lilies I got on sale the season before last. 25 cents for a bag of 5 I believe...no idea what they are. They smell really pertty!

They are so pretty!

You got them for just 25 cents apiece?
What a find!!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Good deal, Thom! Had my first bloom on my Stewartia pseudocamellia today. This is another small, multi-season understody tree I highly recommend.
