That's a good one, Celeste! Congrats.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I thought I could help feed my little feathered friends better this fall and winter.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

You'll need another Viburnum nudum to assure best fruiting. Winterthur is one I would recommend.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

OK....birds and the bee's thing again huh?? I'm going to check it out now!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yep - they're not so good at self-pollination! Any nudum would do, but Winterthur is another one that has different colored berries at the same time.

Good morning all and wow, all lovely stuff above, but I'm going to have to wait until after work to comment more :-( Anyhow I just had to post these two pics! I figured that they would help wake everyone up for the day. I've been walking over this bridge almost daily for around 10 years now and the reflection has never been so bright that it hurt the eyes to look at it.... until todayl! Unfortunately also so bright that the camera couldn't filter colors as usual so that it darkened the colors of everything that wasn't white. the only editing I did was to crop the picture. There were quite a few folks standing on the bridge looking at the water and trying not to look at it the same time! I think it has something to do with the water being colder than it usually is when the sun is as bright as it is in June. I live downstream about 1/3 mi. of the left.

Hi Maria! Nice to see you posting. How nice to have a rose in the family so long.

Great shots, Shelly! Always love those kind of shots.

Kershaw, SC(Zone 8b)

Not sure which one of the Big Sky series this is...but I like it...it's the only one that really "took off" for me this year...and it looks so nice growing up through the Sambucca!

Edited: Just found the tag: Summer Sky, aka Katie Saul

Last year, when working at the garden center, the owner had me chop all of the flowering parts off of the sedums...so, I took the 5-gallon bucket home with all of the cuttings, and threw them on this little bank...some took, others didn't...I have no idea how many cultivars there are, but it seems like, depending on what group I am looking at, that there are about 12 or so that made it. The larger/taller sedums did not make it.

another group of sedums...I'm hoping that eventually they will fall/spill over this little stone wall and grow in through all of the little crevices.

is it normal for a clematis to bloom this long? I always thought that they were relatively short in their flower cycle... and, can anyone ID this one?

Finally, a Datura flower...that was growing outside...woohoo. It's one of the Metels not sure which one though.

I have more day lily blooms this year than I've EVER had before!
The downside - lots of deadheading to do!
I do it every day to keep up.
Last Sunday I cut off 52! That's a record for me.
The pot on the right is the one I'm bringing to the RU for whoever wants some. :o)
