Thom - congrats on stealing the peonies! LOL

I'm in a flowering lull right now. I have about 30 things ready to bloom...any day now...but nothing really new.

When I saw that peony I actually squeaked...lol...I made myself laugh. The MG person whose family owns this garden center, was like, "Is that a good price?" I told him, go and google this baby, AFTER I purchase them...lol.

Victor--This Garden Center is currently selling 'Shirazz.' They are all nicely leafed out, and are about 5-6' tall or so. Their price is $233 each, and they are all 30% off! This sale is indefinite...until the season is done atleast. With the 30% off, and our 6% sales tax (I already did the number crunching for you...lol) It will total about $172-ish. They have 8 left...I can have one shipped out to you...

I will be getting mine within the next 2 weeks!

Great--the only bargain I got was at Dunkin Donuts where the girl charged me for a small latte, when I had a med. Nice peony buy, Thom. Here is my renovated front garden with the new bird's nest spruce--taken from an upper window when it was raining a little--after I closed the window it poured & the whole area was flooded--& it's a raised bed!

Lovely combination, Robin! Do I spy a few little coleus in among the others? They're just great for adding a punctuation mark!

That's what the early growth looks like, Louise. This is the earliest stage.
