Well Joanna - at the rate the boys are travelling, there will be precious little gardening and/or garden related activities by the time they reach those of us in the east.
ByndeweedBeth - I think you've just got to stay clear of questionable activities. As long as you don't give anyone anything to complain about you should be OK.

Bye the way, I have NOT sent in a complaint about the questionable threads. Just wanted to know where the the travelers were, as in my last post several weeks ago. Been out-of-the-loop for a few weeks and totally missed the postings that were yanked. Just my opinion stated earlier today. Thought the whole gnome travel thing was about visits to our own private gardens, which would have been do-able to get them across Canada in one growing season had everyone only limited the stay of a few days.
Anyways, looking forward to the new chapter.
This will be my last post on this thread. I think we need to shut it down and get going on thread 3 when the boys arrive in Edmonton and annabell52 takes them on their tour. Annabell will be starting the new thread, so look for it in the near future. Be advised that the new thread will probably have a new name also, so keep an eye out!!
The original intention of the Dave and Bullwinkle chronicles was to have fun, which we have had. I don't think it is necessarily for them just to visit gardens, although that is the main objective. Part of the whole exercise is for them to visit across the country, so that all Canadian Dave Gardeners (and some US gardeners!) can see other parts of the country they have never seen. Our country has such wonderful tourist sites, and we hope to see as many of them as we can through Dave and Bullwinkle's eyes.
Summer, winter, spring, or fall - should make no difference. And as I have said before - who knows how long the travels will take. We might get into another year, and get new Dave's Gardeners in on the fun.
So please everyone, let's just shut down this thread and look forward to seeing new and exciting Dave and Bullwinkle adventures.
I have been thinking about closing down this thread, and thought this was a great opportunity to do it. I'd appreciate it if there are NO MORE postings in this thread, and we all just sit back and wait for the new adventure to start!
