Cannagirl- You wouldn't happen to be able to dig me up another Pitcher Plant from your pasture, would you? The one I got from you in College Station went to Plant Heaven on me ( I don't know what happened to it, it just kind of faded away). Thanks, Jim

Thanks Sandy! Is that a double oleander? It is gorgeous!

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Glad your going to be there Carter!
Not to worry about bringing plants- it's a plant swap and SOCIAL lol.

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

Speaking of Oleander, I had a beautiful healthy yellow one that I just gave my dbf because he killed his last one. (hoping I didn't just sign this one's death warrant by giving it to him, lol) But I still want one, any color would do (though I was really looking forward to the yellow) Does anyone have one already rooted? I have terrible luck rooting them.

Anne

Sugar Land, TX(Zone 9a)

We look forward to meeting you, Carter!

OK....here's my most updated list and I know I'm missing something that you requested, Kim. Long story but I haven't been keeping up with the list like I should have so I just printed this whole thread out and darned if my ink isn't almost out. I've had to decipher words on a lot of the printout and can't read your request at all. Just let me know and I'll get it started.

Anne - my aunt has had luck rooting but I don;t think they're yellow. Want me to ask her what she did? I only know from second hand knowledge.

College Station, TX(Zone 8b)

Anne

Humble, TX

Thanks! Kim

(Nadine) Devers, TX(Zone 9b)

CARTER!!! glad to ya going!! will see ya there...

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Okay Kristi,
What size castor bean ? I have a 7 foot castor bean and a climbing hydrangea potted together...want that one?

Sugar Land, TX(Zone 9a)

That'll be perfect!

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Groovy..I'll put your name on it.

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

matter of fact I'll throw it in the car if we're going to rendez-vous this week for Caldwells

Sugar Land, TX(Zone 9a)

Sounds like a winner to me.

Sugar Land, TX(Zone 9a)

Gotcha down, Kim.

I'm working out in the shed tonight. I've dug up all the milkweed, crocosmias and coral nymph salvias. The rest will be from cuttings. I'm doubling up and keeping fingers crossed that everything takes.

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

I had to put some of my cuttings inside for the first 3 days....they did alright keeping cool..I'd set them out at night for the humidity.

Sugar Land, TX(Zone 9a)

Good idea. I was going to put them in my 'plant hospital' which is shelves DH built for me right under the pecan tree for protection. But, with this heat, bringing them in might be the better option. The porterweed usually takes with no problem. It's the other things I'm going to need to really baby.

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Yeah..it did help them just starting off...I mean it was 99F today and a convection oven- I noticed that after the first couple of days they seem to be able to cope better- especially setting them out at night...cause it's still hot..helps them aclimatize

I have lots of rangoon creeper, butterfly vine, but do you want a clipping or the seeds? So new to this. Never done it before. So let me know.

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

I'd say Rangoon seeds, clipings are fairly challenging
butterfly vine...is that butterfly peavine? that would definately be seeds, unless you have seedlings growing

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Randy may I have

1- gal 'Tropicana' Canna
1- gal Pennisetum glaucum 'Purple Majesty'
1- 6" azalea pots Buddleia 'Black Knight'
and I would love 2 of the 6" azalea pots Ajuga 'Burgundy Glow' and would take what ever may be left after everyone asks. I have wanted some to go around my flower bed for a long time.
some of the bulbs of Crocosmia - golden

Could you tell me what you have for me already?

and what is Verbena venosa

I don't want to be a piggy, You have so many things I have wanted or I can't resist. lol

I will list my haves here soon so you don't have to look up my trade list

Thanks,

Beaumont, TX
