Houston Area Plant Swap and Social Trade List
but yes..that's the burgandy one I have avail
Randy, did you say you have that burgandy canna available ???? I would surely love a little one.
jana
Okay Jana....It's a big pot, and there are a few of them in there.
Christi do you have an green ones I gave you? I mislabled it if I called it banana cana...
LOL...RED plant...LOL
I would love a red canna or if Jana wants the whole pot that is just fine with me. Thanks so much for the plants you listed I am very excited.
I missed that is Donna's stuff I will go talk to her.
I have had a lot of stresses and trying to keep all straight as far as who I am let alone anything else has been interesting. Needless to say sometimes not working. There is a thread in prayer forum with my life recently. If you care to read (codependent II) Very interesting what our kids will do to hurt us. It has been at the worst I could ever imagine and about to hit another bump.
So forgive me if I get anything wrong everyone as this is therapeutic.
here is my trade list http://davesgarden.com/tools/tradelist/manage.php?list=have This is easier as the pictures are there. Just ask as some I have quite a bit of. will be back and edit what I have for the ones who have ask.
Blessings,
Sandy ^8^
I have burgundy canna that I've been digging up and throwing away. My yard guys haven't realized that I'm trying to get rid of it and they keep making nice little circles around it to prevent the weed whacker from getting it. Now, if they would just do that to my brugs, I'd be a happy camper. The cannas are free for the taking!
Jim, It looks like I want beable to attend this RU after all. I can send you a picture plant in the mail. They like a little shade when you transplant, lots of water.
TRADES: If I made a trade with you and you'd like me to mail your plants, please email me.
LouC here's a picture of my Canna Bananas.....not in bloom.
Dollie
No worries Sandy...there are a few not on the list that will make their way to your truck I'm sure.
Yep..that's the Banana Canas I have....and the only ones I intend to keep!
Plenty of burgandy to go round
TY Randy.
Is there anything I possibly have I can bring you?
I also have the 3 different oleanders I can take cuttings I will try to post pictures if I can get around to it.
I also have several cape honeysuckle if anyone wants it. And my neighbor has a turkey fig tree I can get cuttings from.
That is the only canna I received from you. You didn't specifically label it. I took the list and tried to match those that weren't labeled. Process of elimination. Whatever, this one is gorgeous. It is already more than 8 feet and 3-4 huge blooms. Think it will have to be moved by next year. Also multiplying like mad.
PK
Well, I'm glad you like it...and it, and all the rest are definately liking you!
Thanks Sandy, I'm playing the plant shuffle now. I'm out of room, so your helping me by taking stuff!
Thank you Randy, for the pot of cannas and of course Sandy , you can have some.
jana
Randy you are very welcome...I so appreciate you being an enabler for my addiction....(ha ha) I really appreciate you doing this in your home TY. The one last year was the very first time I went anywhere since my husband passed just 9 months before. I had so much fun and enjoyed being with my family from DG.
I have rooted cuttings of the picture here. it is a ground cover I love. It fills in where nothing else will. If anyone knows what it is LMK please.
Randy I know Wayne probably doesn't need anything I have but would you tell him to take a look Please. I love to share more than receive. But I always get so much in return especially the smiles.
Sandy, what you have is Wedelia paludosa 'Trailing Yellow'. I've got it and started out with a 4 inch pot last year. It's a lovely ground cover that is now about 6 ft. wide by 6 ft. deep. It does climb a bit, if I train it.
http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/106564/
I love wedelia but it became invasive in my beds so I had to pull it up. I'm still pulling it up! LOL.
I got a little bit from a friend ( yes,we are still friends) and now I have a WHOLE LOT !!!!!!
I still like it and am trying to get it to go in the path I want.
jana

Heavinscent- I'll tag a Bauhinia and a Blue Ginger for you. I don't think I'll have any left other than those. Jim
Sandy: Could I have a little of your crocosmias? It looks so pretty in the picture. I would also like another start of your parrot lily. I must admit I don't remember where I planted the roots of the first one. I try and remember where everything is since little Gemma is a plant tag puller, but sometimes my mind isn't what it was. If you think about it, maybe you can take a cutting of your neighbor's fig tree and I can figure out how to get it to root in our propagating class. It will be good to see you again. You are in my prayers!
Tabitha
Of course you may Tabitha. They are really pretty. I like the crocosmias and want more colors in time. I will get a fig cutting for you also. Could I get 3 cuttings of your oleander? I read to take the cuttings under where 2 side branches. And I would love several cuttings of your hibiscus.
The date is wrong on this picture. They were taken this spring.
This is fruitless pomegranate. Absolutely Beautiful. I can take cuttings if anyone wants to try it. This is one of overall favorites.
Orange is fine, Thanks Sandy!
Sandy, with a y not an i, I would like a cutting of your pomegranate.
Are we doing the same afternoon thing this yr as last?
:~)
