She's about to ....

NE, KS(Zone 5b)

Headed there now, Thanks peg! ;)

(AnjL) Fremont, CA(Zone 9b)

do you have a link? I can help dmail some of them :o)

Nassau County, NY(Zone 7a)

Peg, count me in ok,in whatever we need to do to help them out, just in case. i also have a house on a flood zone, tonight, the thunder is scary and horrible. Again, I am here to help out love, Clemen

Midwest City, OK(Zone 7b)

In the midst of all of this, my computer decides to act totally whacky. I don't know how to do a link, but go to the Weather Forum instead of the Brug Forum and volunteer if you want to d-mail. It does not take all that much time, just figure out who you are going to d-mail, write the first message and copy and paste, or copy and paste Marilyn's that she has there. Some people we may not hear from until they have power and the flooding has gone down, but the first thing they will know is that we are thinking about them. It's a little thing, but can mean so much. Even if you don't have time to volunteer, it is worth it to read this thread so far. Get out the Kleenexes and this is just starting. There are a lot of good people here on DG. Including a group of hotties. :)

Nassau County, NY(Zone 7a)

here you Peg, will check on it and yes aren't we hotties! Clem

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

I'm going too peg... Ty and maybe I can help out too!

Midwest City, OK(Zone 7b)

I can't believe the response we have got so far. Marylyn has worked unbelievably, and the DGers who have answered are so appreciative. But we are hearing from the people who are relatively okay. Which is so cool. But we may start hearing from people who are not okay, and that is going to be tough.

Maybe after this is all over, say about in September, we can all send them cuttings from brugs :)))) You all are the hottiest, greatest.

And Audrey, "computer illiterate?" You have shone tonight. Your star is very bright. What a good heart you have, sweet lady. :)) Pat yourself on the back, take a big hug and I am so glad you're part of our group...

Lov to all, Peg

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

there are 3 ladies from our lil hottie newbies for brugs group that have made a lot of people know they are cared about, even from total strangers! I have to thank all of you for all of you stoping whatever you were doing today and "getting the job done".. I know they appreciate it soo much!!

I am very pleased to be a part of this group of such fine, caring girls!!

Becky

Nassau County, NY(Zone 7a)

Becky, total strangers are good at heart!!!! Clem

hottie hottie!!!

Midwest City, OK(Zone 7b)

Beck, from one tired brug mama who has to go to work in three hours, and my computer is still acting like it is constipated...

YOU BELONG IN THIS GROUP. Enough said.

Snooozeee, snoooze, someone wake me up at 2:30.

AuntB, lov ya, but we are going to ride you until you do that GH thing, you know that don't you??

Clem, storms are magnificent truths of God's strength, OR, as I was told as a kid, "Thunder is just God bowling a strike, when he's bowling." :)))

Night, really. Peg

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

Wow!!! How thoughtful, caring and beautiful you all are!! I am moved by what I am reading. I should have bulbs and cuttings or seeds in fall.

Kim

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Computer, constipated! Great discription! Exactly what mine was doing last night! Think it had anything to do with the storms that went through? It seems to be OK this morning!
BTW, thanks for the compliments! That makes me feel proud! I enjoyed doing it!
Audrey

NE, KS(Zone 5b)

Hugs for everyone today! Beck, you ARE in the group, girl. We love you! It does my heart good to see all the caring and love going around. It's a mean world out there sometimes and I can always restore my faith in humanity by coming here and seeing so much unselfishness. Kim, (kimarj) Can we start "she's about to" #2 thread? With over 300 posts, the people on dial up are probably waiting hours for it to load. Thanks, I have DSL and it's taking a few minutes..
Okay guys and hotties, I'm going to do the greenhouse thing TODAY! My sis called we're going to meet right at that corner to look at some houses for her in the area... (nice I have her to lend moral support, haha)- AND so nice I have you ALL to keep me focused! I'm trying not to get my hopes up too high. I'll for sure check back in and let you know how it goes. Enjoy your day everyone! I'm still working on my Iowa list, some are hard to find, I'm searching through threads to find their old posts... Wish I could sit here and complete it, but I'm working on it. I'm so happy for all that are safe and dry. Thanks for the reminder that when we do start hearing from people affected, the news won't be so happy...I hadn't thought that far down the road, my heart goes out to them.

(Audrey) Dyersburg, TN(Zone 7a)

Aunt B, Can I help with your list?
Audrey

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

I'm forever checking on my brugs and I think they are going to be OK. I think I see new growth and hope that is a very good sign they want to stay here. Sometimes my patience has a short fuse.

Pegi

(Becky) Colmesneil, TX(Zone 8b)

Ty for the sweet words.. but I know I am apart of the group..lol... just try to get rid of me...I aint going anywhere...

Kim.. it does do a heart good to hear what others are doing to try and help people..

Pegi.. yep.. I do the same with my brugs... like a mother hen..

auntB... you better get on the stick ..lol cause I am another that will fuss at you till you do..hehe Glad your sis is coming .. always helps to have moral support! And give me some of the names on the list to send dmails to... Let me have a few moments of knowing I helped a little.

Peg.. my puter STAYS constipated..LOL reckon EX-LAX would help?? I am on dial up too, so I am used to SLOW.. even though I hate it!!

Midwest City, OK(Zone 7b)

Okay, hotties, I am in between shifts. I think the computer constipation was that we probably almost brought DG's site down last night. We had a lot of d-mail going out at once and a lot of activity. I'm glad we did not crash it but I had not thought about that possibility until it got soooo slow.

I agree with AuntB, let's start a new thread with "She's about to #2" and go with it, especially since we are getting so long of a thread. Maybe by #250 we will think of another name :) I don't know how to do the hyperlinks, so someone else please jump in.

AuntB, the rest of us were working from the members list that Marylyn posted at the top of thread. Are you searching for Iowans everywhere?? WOW!!

Got to go rest before the next shift. Nite in the afternoon, Peg

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)
