Have I earned some bragging rights???

ge I am still a beginer to. I actually pulled up and destroyed two lilies this year because I thought they had virus. Most likely it was a nitrogen deficiency. I just love hanging around and hearing from the experts.

Tammy thats one beautiful clematis.

John, those Triumphators look amazing! How long have you had them? I didn't think about them getting that tall, but I think the spot I have mine in will still suite them- I like having the fragrant ones near the border for convenience for the nose. If you're looking to propagate them, you will usually find bulblets just under the soil connected to the stem and stem roots. Looks like you'll have some nice, big blooming size bulblets to harvest.

Tammy, your rose, clematis, lily garden has plumped up beautifully!

gemini thanks for the tip. I believe they have been in the ground for 2 years. I mixed that ground up with lots of compost before I planted them. I don't know if that is a good practice with lilies are not, but thats what I did.

Thanks for all the compliments.

You're very welcome :-) I've always found lilies to respond very happily to plenty of compost. Some say not to use manure, but I've used all kinds of compost with good results.
