Very nice

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

Thanks.

Some of those would go nice with Kassia's roses, I bet. I just love siberians with roses.

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

Oh, Kass, you have totally transformed your yard into a garden dream. I can hardly believe what you've done since the last pics you sent me. The turtle garden is the sweetest thing. They must be so happy when they get a nice day to go out.

Gardiner, ME(Zone 5a)

Jan,are you going to Kassia's RU ? I can bring your fabric then.

Hannibal, NY(Zone 6a)

I love that turtle garden, too. I've never seen anything like it.

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

Brig, I'm not going to the RU. It's a pretty long trip from here and it's hard for me to get away. I sure wish I could be there. Kass might be coming up to see me but we don't have any real plans yet, or I'd say just give it to her to bring.

Nassau County, NY(Zone 7a)

Kassia, no more pics, what happened? Want to see more!
Candace, yes slugs are alive, i just trew more of that pet friendly stuff on my shady garden to prevent slugs and snails, they just destroy all of your hard work, Kassia, look out for tose little creatures!! Clemen

Slugs! Ugh!
I've been watching for them, but haven't seen any evidence of them yet. But then, I haven't yet braved the dark hours to go out with a flashlight to look, either. I guess I'll have to do that this evening. We use Sluggo and it helps a lot. The gardens have already received two doses of Sluggo so far this season.

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

I haven't had a problem with slugs (yet). maybe I just don't have the conditions they like. I know when I used to grow lettuce they made a mess of it and I put out the beer traps.

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

Anna and I did the beer thing last year. What a mess, but we just put the beer into small containers. The clean up was not something I want to do again. The beer works great, though!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I've been lucky over the years with slugs too. Never been a real problem. Hi Clem - have not seen you posting much lately.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Just Sluggoed my entire shade garden, 30 new hostas I'd like to give half a chance. The Fall Anemone transplant had holes in the old leaves, newly emerging leaves were fine yesterday but this morning are full of holes too.
DANG

The Monadnock Region, NH(Zone 5a)

How discouraging, Jo Ann.
I know that Anna is off to the Agway store in just a few minutes to get some more Sluggo. So far, we have been lucky, too, and we'd like to stay that way.
