For my frinds here in the MI forum, we wanted a place to chat and are no longer allowed to in the co-op forum....since several of you were in my co-op I figured this was as good a place as any to have a new thread!!!:)
Fairy's Perennial Co-op pictures, chat and misc convo
Susie2-we want pics of your babies!!
Stella-ooo which heauchera is that???
Joyce-Love that pic!!
Suzy-I am hoping we don't have than much trouble w/ the summer sky-that is the one I REALLY wanted!!
I will have to get some pics of my babies and post them!!!
Stacey have you planted all your babies out yet?
If so how are they holding up under all this rain?
I have not and will not until the end of the month-I put them in cow pots-they go in the garage at night and come out after I get home from work-I have been putting them in a pan every few days to water them...
O KAY lol
I have planted out a few of mine from the other coops I have received and they are doing great. Seems to be doing even better since they got a drink straight from God ^_^ Not sure what it is about the rain water but plants seem to thrive so much better with it than well or city water ^_^
Oh forgot to mention, DH has a surprise for you when you decide to stop by ^_^ I am not telling, no way shape or form *grinning* You will see when you come over. (a hint-well its more for your dh) ^_^
Is is something to kill bees with??LOL Oooo-a surprise!!! Yeah!! I will be stopping by in the next couple weeks-I am trying to get all my stuff transplanted and then I stopped by a local place-Lewis & Dean and got some perennials for 99cents each-and good ones too!!
Where is Lewis & Dean? never heard of them
Lewis runs paralell to Telegraph-the next main one after the RR tracks and Dean is just S of Temperance Rd.-downtown Temperance-about 2 miles from me
Oh lol, I thought that was the name of the place, not the roads rofl, will have to drive by there the next time we head to Toledo and check them out :o)
Watcha doin today for a couple hrs??? Say 11-1??
not sure yet, Ken just got up, hmmm why ^_^
I am heading out to the gh for a few minutes, will be back shortly ^_^
Where'd you go Stacey :o) whats going on from 11 to 1 ?
Oh-thought we could hit the one I went to yesterday and Parran's which is a fave of mine-thought I could pick you up on my way home from work this morning and drop you off after we go to the 2...if ya want-it should only take like an hour or 2-1 id in Ida and the other like I said B4 in Temperance, so easy peasy!!
Swing by Ga and pick me up, I'll be ready to go by then.
CDawg-let me get my spy plane reasy & I will shoot right over for ya!!;)
K ^_^ what time will you be at my house? I will be ready.
around 10:45-I am getting driving directions right now-YEAH-what fun!!:) I am soooo excited!!
^_^
CDawg-Connie will bring her camera and we will take pics for ya!!LOL-sorry, (slapped myself for teasing)
I can do that ^_^
I wanna go!!!!! Fly by and get me, too!
pictures are almost as close as being there ^_^
Wow, Joyce that's really pretty. Do you have different time bloomers, so you always have color? I have only had Stella D'Oro for a few years and last year I broke down and got a few miniatures to add to them. I'm hoping they'll bloom this year, since it was late when I put the babies in last year.
Yes, mine bloom at all different times. This is going to be our 2nd full summer here, so we are still in the "where the hell do I put that" phase. I need to go out and take some pics of the new shade beds we are putting in this year, but it's 55 today and I haven't made it out of my robe yet!! I'll post some of last years to give me something to do today.
Joyce, that set up looks just perfect -- lots of daylilies and hostas!!!! No wonder you like Soules so well! You guys should come August 23 for the Indiana Daylily Society Sale at Holliday park.. Make sure you can get to the North side of Indy by 10:00 (I think, but maybe it's 11:00 for non members, but membership is like $9.00, so if you're a big spender or know what you want. then maybe being a member would be a better plan coonsidering the cost of gas.) THEN go on down to Soules. :))

You can google Holliday Park for directions (not a misspelling on Holliday)
I might have had more to say, but I lost the original thread already. LOL!
Suzy
Stella-I love that one-it is soooo pretty!!
Suzy-LOL!! Look for Closed Perennial Shipping & Payment
Joyce-what great pics!! I love the fountain and there is that cute little girl again!!
I will have to get some pics to post of my tulips-I dug out 1/2 circles all along my walkway and planted tulips & grape hyacinths and they look just like I imagined-even though EVERYONE thought I was nuts for having mulch 1/2 circles in my front yard-what I would like to do it after they are done blooming, put pots on the spots w/ dahlias in them-that way I can just move the pots inside in the fall..
Connie & I just got back from 2 of my fave GH and had a blast-she took some pics at the first place. WE got some 4" pots for $1 each and the gallon pots were $5.99 each-great prices!!
Can I just tell you that Connie has the bestest Cedar GH-I am soooo jealous!! PLus she gave me some presents and showed me her beds!! She has several different ones-pretty much mixed, but a ton of ideas and a GH FULL to the brim w/ more!! That lady will be planting til the cows come home!!LOL
Tha Jacob't ladder was really pretty-I am gonna see if it is left at the end of the season-probably not:( They had what-like 8 different var. of Jacob's Ladder???
plus there was a whole other section in the back, where all the perennials are...
The last Jacob's Ladder you looked at?? Well then-you must go back!!!LOL
Stacey, that deep red plant I didn't know the name of, its loosestrife ^_^
