Gorgeous blooms everyone!
Beautiful work!!

Hey I figured I'd wait to post any more until someone made a new thread.

Shoot, I accidentally posted to part 3 again! Jeez! I'll start a new thread and put it on both, so I won't mess up again!

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

I started a new one although I didn't have any more spring blooms, so I used a rose. I should have let one of you do it! Oh well. Here's the new thread.

I haven't posted anything blooming yet, mainly because my stuff was so late this year due to the late cold! But someone had asked if clematis would grow in North Texas. This one (jackmanii) is about 15 years old and has been very lovely this year. Sorry that the flash sorta washes out the color.

There you go, another I did not know the name. I have that same one on the front arbor. Blooms like crazy.

Yours look lovely, they are not washed out.

thanks for your pics and comments--aggie girl--your asiatic lily was pretty-i bought some potted ones marked down because blooms are starting to wilt-will it bloom again this year? also planted bulbs for first time and they are blooming so wonder for them also (asiatic lilies again)
tx lady thanks for pic and encouragement for clamatis--planted mine last year and was so small but came back for spring -still small --fun to see how well they can do in my area! did you do anything special for it?

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

No, I have never done anything special. It's a type 3 clematis which means it should be hard-pruned in February. But for most of its life I didn't even remember to do that. :)

I have always heard that clematis are very slow to get established. It can take up to 3 years for them to really get going.

Hey y'all don't forget about the new thread Elphaba whipped up... This one is way too long and puts a strain on people with dial ups

Please adjourn to the new thread http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/845544/

Hugs &
Thanks!!
