New thread as the other was getting long so I started a new one. This is my favorite section of my garden right now. It's the section with the most stuff blooming.
From left to right:
Pink tall blooms in the middle are Hill Country Penstemon
Red blooms are Salvia greggii
Light pink to the right of Salvia is SdlM Rose
Behind the rose is HF Young Clematis
In front is 'Nana' Coreopsis
To the right of the Coreopsis is 'Butterfly Blue' Scabiosa
Spring blooms - Part 4 - Stuff is really taking off
Another section.
Far left is Texas Betony blooming it's head off
In front of it, in pink is Hwy 290 Pink Buttons Rose
Next is another 'nana' Coreopsis. I just love it so much that I have two.
Bottom left you can barely see the 'Starry Eyes" Nierembergia blooming. It's new and it looks white but it's light purple
Behind that you can see the gaura's purple coloring though it does not have any blooms yet
At the back is the first open bloom of Fireworks Clematis
And on far the right is the Hill Country Penstemon sneaking back in the picture
Thank you Carla. ^_^
I think I got lucky with that Clematis. I picked out a real healthy one last spring and I think that HF Young must be a real hardy variety. I am just thrilled at how well it has taken off. And the blooms are giant.
Yep, it does look like my 'Fireworks' Clematis, Kim. And that Cactus bloom is really cool! No Daylilies blooming here yet. Not even any scapes popping up, though I am looking for them every single day! Kim didn't you or your mom get some daylilies from me last fall? That one looks familiar.
Hmmm....not sure....I got daylilies from a few different people last year. I've had this one a few years now, got it from a friend at work when she moved.
Just curious. I was just thinking it looked familiar. It will pop into my head later, which one it reminds me of. Maybe when it blooms, if it's one I still have.
I know that it is not my turn to post pictures
This weekend, I planted the Senna plants that you sent in ground. The rock roses you kindly shared are also in bed. And yesterday, I saw this bud on one... Can't wait ~ thank you so much!
