Second, DH's raised bed, the length of the driveway. It is hard to get a good long shot of this garden, but I tried. He is a Lily addict, so it will be a good progression through the summer.
ps. I HATE that cedar hedge, but it is the neighbours...

The long view
Lee Anne, could you put low fencing of some kind on your side of the hedge? Is the wood stove to keep the plants warm in the winter? I like it!
I've thought of low fencing of some kind, hard to do without damaging root systems though, the cedar hedge is planted between 5 maples. That raised bed of DH's is a chore to keep watered between the roots of the Maples and the Cedars.
The wood stove is cool isn't it? I didn't have the heart to throw it out.
Here is a pic. of it in later summer.
I would never throw out such a beauty! Hmmm, I think dh has an old pot belly in the barn - will have to have him take a look!
it's comming along, painted ferns are up, columbine is growing,
Expect Seneca Hill's box today with helebors niger,

Nice Jo Ann!
Love the stove Lee Anne.
Deb-how pretty!!!
Very nice, Deb!
Thanks!
Very nice Victor, when my garden grows up it wants to look just like yours!
Hee hee - thanks. I have to take some shots from the back.
Deb, your shots are beautiful! Cute doggy too.
There is something that I love about grass, other than mowing it. I love to walk barefoot in nice soft green grass. And it's a great visual backdrop for the flowers that we grow. Grass is ok in my book, but it is dwindling here also:~)
Clover feels even nicer!
So....
I love to rest my a__
in the soft green grass
But to get the best
in clover my feet would rest lol
