Wow Jen, that will keep you busy for years. I can vouch for Jen's dirt also. We're about 30 miles apart, I'm sand ,sand, and more sand. Jen has great dirt.

Yeah, it looks great. Wish I couldn't hear my neighbors. They're so noisy, I'd probably still hear them if I had 10 acres.

You have my sympathies also. We had the WORST neighbors where we lived before. So this is just wonderful and the neighbors are great too.
my mom has really loud neighbors too... growing up they were the worst.... the father would go out between our houses at 6 in the morning... which are about 4 feet away from each other and sing on the top of his lungs... the proceed to start the lawn mower... while he was still singing.... as a teenager that was very traumatic for me.... they were always screaming at each other .... uuuuggggghhhh.... they are the reason i want 100 acres and put my house right in the middle

You could buy a house at a dead end road with acres in between the neighbor. That way you could save money but have quiet. I have 3 houses that border my house and I like quiet and if I had a noisy neighbor - lets not go there.
I have one neighbor that is quiet but his yard is like a lousy pig sty.

My neighbors are quiet, but I live on a busy road and the cars are constant noise. Still they're not all that bad compared to the motorcycles which of course make their appearance as soon as the weather is nice and our windows are open. ::sigh::
Yup, I've got both. Noisy neighbors on all sides, and I'm on a corner of two busy roads. Every time I think about how much I dislike the noise, I remind myself that I came from a dark, one bedroom apartment in the Bronx. It was noisy AND there was no yard! So, this place may be noisy, but it's a giant step up from where I had been. : )
You need a nice fountain to drown out the noise!
That's what I do too Harper. Everytime a mufflerless motorcycle goes by I think, I could be living next to railroad tracks. ooof

Venu, so sorry, we're one of those motorcycles, but not during the summer, we stay away from the shore in the summer. I HATE the traffic.
Made the mistake of going to the seafood fest in Belmar one year...what a nightmare!
Jen, I understand the traffic thing. It's horrid in the summer. I used to go to the Pt Pleasant seafood festival but finally gave up.
We have a Big Wheels problem in the summer here.
We also have a training wheels problem, he can't ride around the grass with 'em.
I loved my Big Wheel. Got a lot of miles on it.
