Stephanie, your May Night is beautiful. I love MN, it is such a hardy and happy plant. Mine had a White-lined Sphinx nectaring from it this morning. What a nice way to start the day.

Here is a closeup of my happy Pincushion (Scabiosa) plant.

Spring is also time to start getting ready for the summer garden. You know time flies and too soon the pansy, alyssum and petunias will be fading. I am getting ready>

Looks like you and Dde are both getting ready. Saw Pots of things that probably will be put in ground on Ddes' photo too. Just not on such a grand scale! Looks like you have your work cut out for you Dale_a

LOL hopefully so for you!

I don't need more inspiration... need more time, effort, money. This year I am putting more of my pots in ground. Hope to dent my container collection of plants! Good luck on your end!

Tyler, TX

This is the first time this clematis has bloomed. Can't remember what it's called but it is a beautiful color of blue and they've been so big.

For the MG plant sale on the 19th of April, I have a small nursery of things I have rooted. Guess around 500 plants or so. Will try to post a photo if we do not get the storms this morning.
You were right the pots are different types of EE's and tropical Hibiscus that will go into the ground, pot and all. After I see the color of them, they get a hair cut.

Looks like we are up early this morning. I did not now that you grew roses. Do you do the OGR ? Do you have the Peggy Martin rose ? Can get a cutting going for you if you would like.
Also have the Fairy, Old Blush and others. Nice pink climber with small blooms and 7 sisters in pink and red.
This may open up an area that I can pay you back for things.

DdeTex, I will grow almost anything. I love roses, always wanted a start of 7sisters. It is so kind of you to offer.

Rockport, TX(Zone 9a)

Wow, beautiful bloomers everyone! Placenciarita what is that gorgeous lavendar bloom in your last post?

This is not my beauty. It's my neighbor's crimson passionflower. He planted it along our shared fence, so I get to enjoy it too.!

Hope everyone made it through yesterday's storms OK. We still haven't had any rain here. I know that I should be careful what I wish for, but I could sure use a few inches of rain.

I've forgotten what this is called. I'm sure y'all will remind me. It's grown into a small tree and has just started blooming at the very top.

This azalea bloomed in January/February, so I was surprised this morning when it had flowers on it again. It's not an encore but just decided to have another flush! It's a tiny, spindly plant with hardly any leaves, but it does have these big gorgeous flowers.

Elphaba~Your yellow blooms are esperanza.

Kilgore, TX(Zone 8a)

Hi, you all have some beautiful flowers. I have some pics I'm trying to upload of my Raspberry Ripple Sage. It just got 4 pink blooms on it. Just bought it 2 or 3 days ago. Now it's starting to look like the pic on the marker, from when I bought it. I guess the rain did it good...and I was afraid of overwatering it!

Elegant Iris and a very pretty NOID!

Red Oak, TX

Podster , do you have any idea about the noid? I kept it in the greenhouse last winter, but would like to know if it is winter hardy.

Thumbnail by prita
Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Is the NOID a vine?

Deep East Texas, TX(Zone 8a)

I don't have a clue... the leaves look familiar and the blooms' profile almost favors a salvia or scutellaria bloom. I will be interested in seeing if someone can help you with it. Perhaps it is one you can do a cutting of and try outside next winter. Test drive it ~ LOL

Red Oak, TX

stephanietx, it is not a vine. It is some kind of salvia.

Red Oak, TX

podster, thank you. I will do that.

Thumbnail by prita
Deep East Texas, TX(Zone 8a)

The leaves on your NOID don't favor salvia... In the photo, the edges appear smoother than salvia leaves but I could very well be wrong again ~ LOl
