Daily Pics Vol. #86
Wonderful pics guys!
Elphaba,Love the colors!
Thanks Pelle!
Here was another attempt at my Hooded Warbler. He's coming to the pond for a bath, but only when it's almost dark, so I haven't gotten a good pic yet. My book says he might stay all summer, but in the past, he's only been here a short time, so I'm taking what I can get! You have to look through a lot of messy foliage - sorry about that!
Their a striking looking bird!
Mrs. Ed...Cute little Robin! We had a Robin nest in a tree in front of our living room window...3 babies and it was such a fun time for us.
Lussah...I have lots of Goldfinch and they are changing also...but I want some of your Waxwings!!
Sybil...I heard you were gonna get a lot of snow...good grief will spring never arrive! Nice pics...love the Pileated!!
Elphaba...Very colorful pics...love that Hooded Warbler!
dellrose, The cedar waxwings aren't here for very long, but I sure enjoy them when they are. Next time they're gracing my garden, I'll ask them to visit your neck of the woods, too!
The cardinals seem to have stopped coming to the feeder, but have started to call. They must be open for business.
Very nice pics everyone!
***Grasmussen will be starting the new Daily Pics soon. :-)***

Hard to tell w/out the spread tail feathers but I would guess Rufous Hummingbird.

I think rufous, too.
GREAT pictures everyone ... I'm green with envy!
I'm not seeing much here except for my usual bunch of doves and house finches.
Today I went down along the river looking for birds. I spotted a big bird in the distance behind some trees; so I moved in slowly for a closer look. Here's a picture of the bird ... a weather vane on someone's gazebo. (Boy, did I feel dumb!)
