Now THAT'S funny!
Scattelogical ramblings and desultory humor - It's spring!
"John Peed"
He said he only did it to ward off the cats; the ones who keep diggin' in my spot of the garden. Sheesh.... He'll be 35 in 2 more days; ahhh.. but he still thinks of Mama!

I prefer John Farted
That is one of the stinking hellabores, right?
"We don't need no stinkin' hellebores"
Deb, you cracked me up over the bike and graphic trailway. Only a gardener would do that!
I have always heard that the first void of the day is the best.
Some insist on getting the last void...

Victor cheers up even the gray days.
Trying to cheer myself up today - sinus infection! Yuck. Looking outside doesn't help. Missed my hike this morning. Bummer.
Cheer up, Victor. Do a few loads of wash, vacuum and dust, clean the bathrooms, polish the windows and let your wife make dinner. Then you'll be happy.
Those chores get done during the week. Hard to do anything with pounding sinuses. My wife does do the weekend cooking.
I don't think he wants to do anything that requires bending down with a sinus infection. And I'm positive dusting would make it worse!!
Hope you feel better soon!
That's true, Celeste. Thanks!
neti pots are supposed to help sinus infections. Sinus infections are bad news. I once thought I had permanent tinnatus and vertigo. It turned out to be a sinus infection and went away with a few rounds of antibiotics. (after more than a year).
I use a neti all the time. This started with allergy season's early arrival. Gave me a full-blown pseudo-cold. Never really went away (three weeks now) and must have developed into an infection. I started antibiotics (reluctantly) yesterday.
How are you, Gloria?
I am getting ready for Spring, Victor! I had a flu that was just fever - no other symptoms- that knocked me for a loop. My little sister came to visit from Michigan. She reminded me that I don't have her energy. I hate to admit that I might be 'losing it'. She is ten years younger than me.
Hope you find a way to deal with that infection.
gloria
Thank you. I seriously doubt you're losing it!
Well. Im not running any bases. It is a bit frightening to have been a really tough and healthy person all your life, to have to admit you are not quite so tough and healthy. YAK.
Not running any bases here either, Gloria!
Pinch runners?
No pinching allowed.
That's how you stay young!
One of my favorite childhood memories is when my dad would chase my mom around the dining room table so he could give her a pinch as we kids cheered him on.
That's great!
Pinching keeps you BUSHY!
LOL
My body looks bushy enough!
No pinching around here either. My little greyhound gives me a little bite when she gets excited. I suppose that's the dog version of a "pinch". She loves to bite me on the rear when I turn my back. So many little holes on the seat of all of my pants!
Puppy love!
Oh Gloria! That's too funny!
Jack had a dog like that!
That is funny!
Its funny to have little teeth holes in the rear of your pants?
Im trying to teach her to respect my rear. (!) She is still a puppy though.
My sister just told me about her adventures riding home on the bus - Tuscaloosa Alabama to Traverse City Michigan.
She met a man waiting at the bus stop at Grand Rapids who had a pekingnese puppy. He saw a man throw the puppy out of the window of his car. He reported the action to the police. He got the puppy. The driver who threw out the puppy got 7 to 10 years in prison.
He deserved life in prison.
That's awful. My grandfather would say he deserved six months in the electric chair.
Great line.
fully charged line, I hope!!
Some extra voltage for good luck?!
