Yep. Computers are amazing.
Scattelogical ramblings and desultory humor - It's spring!
I love that one! The one with all the women?
Actually, they are now pretty sure who the model was.

He was secretly in love with her, along with all of his other male amours.
I didn't know! Thanks for the info Vic!
I had seen that name before as to the 'most likely suspects'. ☺
ramble, ramble, ramble ...
just a bit bored at the moment.
But I won't be for long. Little one will be done napping, and then ...
You'll be in the garden soon, Candyce!
I know. And I can't wait.
After what Anna and I have seen in the gardens the past few days, i.e. new plants sprouting, she is determined not to look again until Saturday. Me? I'm not that strong. I want to look every day to see what's new!
this thread doesn't seem very botanical but what the hell. Has anyone read "World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War"? it's pretty great.
This is the 'anything' thread, tufe! I have not read it.
Yeah, I was getting that impression. This book is pretty interesting, though. The author is Mel Brooks' son. He's called the Studs Terkel of zombie journalism
Good genes!
Mel has been a guest (a few times) on a Saturday morning radio show and he's even funny when he's not playing a role.
Zombie journalism? I wonder if that's what the zombies write or what someone is writing about the zombies. I shouldn't think zombies would have much time to write.
I have a recording somewhere of Mel Brooks, Steve Allen and Larry Gelbart (MASH writer, among other things) from the mid 80's that is hysterical.
I think Mel Brooks even wakes up funny.
He was in NYC a few months after his wife passed and a woman went up to him to express her condolences. She added that she had recently lost her mother so she knew what he was going through. He asked her how old her mom was, and she replied 94. He said she was asking for it!
Last post I looked at was 4,717,318.
Yes, 5 million is not far off.
Then what?
5 million and one.
Any predictions as to when the 5 millionth post might happen?
Mid-June.
I will rely on reminders from you guys when we get closer.
I post because I can
Can-can anyone?
Boy, this is a conundrum! (closest I could get to 'can')
Scratching head, "Now that's a puzzle!"
I post therefore I am.
Heed this lurkers!
I think not -therefore . . .
Emily ~ of course you are!
I had a real Hitchcock moment this AM. As I was pulling out of my driveway on my way to my hike, there were about 15 vultures circling very low overhead! I pinched myself to assure myself I had not moved on. Would have stopped for a photo but was running late.
Eerie. We need some Rod Serling music to go with the image.
... you should have buried the bodies deeper Victor!! ☺
Frost heave!!
Was the idea of vultures worse than "Birds", Victor?
Yes!
I really liked Twilight Zone better. Maybe that's where you were.
I loved the Twilight Zone.
