I don't have blooms right now as I had to keep pinching (debudding everything) for the Mother's day sale until 10 days ago...........I am anxious for them to all bloom at once............

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

sometimes I could kick myself for getting rid of all these wonderful minis of Optimara I found at a local store.. I was told that if they didn't have a name, get rid of them. Don't ever do what I did!

Oh gail you are really much too kind..lol..I can't grow nearly as well as alot of you thats for sure but I sure do love trying..I think I 'm giving up everything else and concentrate on mainly on av's like I used to..well..can't quit streps either..lol..another big passion now.One thing for sure I have found when I am trying too many different gessies at once..seems they all suffer. All of them need so many different growing conditions and it makes my head spin trying to remember what keeps what happy.Mind don't focus as well anymore..lol
I would Love to trade some leaves with you anytime!!

Northeast, NE(Zone 5a)

Beautiful Gail! You will have to make sure and post a pic of when all of those for your Mothers Day Sale all bloom at once. That would be quite a treat!

Outstanding my friend!

Nancy, beautiful violets!! I can't wait to get my first violet bloom. Right now I'm just starting to get my first babies.

Mount Desert, ME

Very nice pics Ladies! I love to see them. Gail, the one you thought was Frozen in Time, isn't...I don't know what it is and it is beautiful, but FIT is variegated. Here is my FIT, not the best picture but you get the idea....the blooms have much more of a green edge if it is grown cool.

What do ya think Pier? Here is another picture of what I thought was Frozen in time.............the variegation is on the outer part of the leaf?

Also will be happy when the african violets start blooming. i don't know if I like this debudding or not! (LOL)

Andalusia, AL(Zone 8b)

Can you see my frustration with this wonderful seed I have. Most of this one was stuck to the tape. i spent over 3 hours this after and just planted 8 packets............oh my gosh...........so tedius........I don't think the actual fold where the seed is even 1/4" wide.
