Spooks and ghosts and weeping ladies...oh my!

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

^_^ fortunately, I am easy going (well, most of the time) and it takes a lot to make me really angry (unless I happen to be in "one of those moods")

(AnjL) Fremont, CA(Zone 9b)

lol, you are describing a scorpio or a pisces :oD?

Scotia, CA(Zone 9b)

Nope, just a two faced err.. faceted Gemini personality...

Gladwin, MI(Zone 5a)

Oh, oh, you reminded me of something that happened many years ago.
I was working at a dealership and there was this tech who thought women should be at home, not working and esp not taking a man's job. He was the rudest, nastiest man. I get along with most people and would always smile and say good morning, whatever, and that would just make him grumpier.

Well, after about a year of this, he started to have heath problems. First his head, neck, then his arm. I told him I had a voodoo doll and was paying him back for being mean and I was working down his torso. What was funny, was because he was so mean, he believed me!

Everytime I smiled at him after that he had more pain. I believe it was self-inflicted. That meaness started to eat him alive.

(Zone 7a)

Oh, the evil we're capable of!!! LMAO

I'm a believer in Karma; what goes around, comes around. Serves that guy right. Nasty-ness will eat your insides until there's nothing left.

Gladwin, MI(Zone 5a)

Yup, and laughter will heal.
I did almost feel guilty about his pain, letting him think I was the cause. Almost felt bad, almost.

Glenview, IL

Oh gosh, Zany, that was pretty funny, typical teenager...LOL
But wow amazing about those coincedents. A bit freaky!

Ok so finally I found my story.
Amazing what the brain thinks sometimes...And go ahead and laugh, cuz it is pretty funny!

When we bought our very first home, It was a handyman special. We were always working on it. Well anyway DH was very busy working late one day wich meant i came home to a very empty large house. It was fall so it was kind of dark. I went about my business with out flipping the lights, I knew exactly where things were. When all of the sudden. Out the cornor of the corner of my eye, I see at the end of the hallway. On the floor was a pair of legs that were crossed wearing brown shoes. OMG what the heck is that?!? I called out who is that? Nothing no movement, I yelled you better get out of here. I went into the kitchen and returned to see still no movemment. Now, It was a day that I decided to where higher heals to work, (usually always wear flats) and so now I am getting frantic. It's getting darker so i get behind a chair and yell hey my Husbands going to be home any minute. Still nothing. So I call DH and said when are going to be home? I said there's a body at the end of the hall- He says your crazy... I said well I am not staying here another minute-I hang up the phone, grab my key and leave. All I kept think was get out of the house. So no where to go I was 5 blocks to the shopping mall. I had no money. So I walked around Sears for 2.5 hours, now i know the store is getting ready to close and i have to walk all the way back. I was purley exhausted, so I took my heals off and made the treck back. Oh man DH still was not back, the house now dark and there was no way on this earth I was going in. So sat on the front stoop and waited.
Finally DH gets home and is shocked I am outside. He asked what are you doing out here-All I could say was I am not going into that house. It's haunted -there's a body at the of the hall. Se went in he went shaking his head. I stayed put, The light goes on, the light goes off! He comes staggering out saying come hear I gotta show you this. So he takes my hand guides me to the hall and flips the swtich, My eyes grow wide and I screaming see there it is-He bust out laughing pulling me closer and says yeah Babe it's your body.
Sure enoughI scared my self right out the house with my very owns jeans and boots. Must took em off right there in a quick change and forgot all about it!

hahaha-That story is retold by everyone in my family. When we moved here the kids told dad to check for ghosts! Still laugh and shaking my own head.

ROTFL!!!

Sounds like something I would do ...

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

I have had some funny meetings lately- as in
I am puttering, doing errands, think-well, I guess I'll just go to THAT store for my cards/groceries- so I go in on basically an impulse . Ran into a former teacher of my kids that I love talking to , Ran into a neighobr whom I've never met and end up talking about my next door neighbor(just heard of health problems there so it's been on the top of my mind)
Then again, I've lived here eighteen years so it's not that unlikely to run into an aquaintance. Just funny thinking how close I was to not making that stop. that I was glad I made.

(AnjL) Fremont, CA(Zone 9b)

Sally, I heard once that if a friend comes to mind...you are supposed to call them...tht they need a 'phone call' at that moment that you are thinking of them. I've tried my best to implement this...and EVERY time I make the call and just say 'I was thinking of you...how are you?' guess what? they say.....oh gosh! I really need to vent, or I really need a favor...etc...
t is kinda wierd...but it does work! I dont know, maybe I am tied into them on some level and can sense when I'm needed? weird I know, but...my friends love it! lol!

(Zone 7a)

I always call someone I've been thinking about and they always tell me they've been thinking of me. Or that they REALLY need me NOW!!! Instinct is there on purpose.

Sugar Land, TX(Zone 9a)

Same thing happens here. When I have the urge to call someone, they always say, I was hoping I'd hear from you.

(Zone 7a)

funny how cats can 'speak' to you :o) My kitty is 10 yrs old, I understand him and he understands me :O) he'll give me that 'mrowr' "hungry" groan and I will tell him, I'll get it in a minute...and he just flops back down, like "okay, fine!"

(Zone 7a)

Our black kitty waits, staring at us until we look and flops on the floor to show how cute she can be. Yeah, I believe you.

Oh, so cute! LOL I love kitties! Everybodies kitties. I was feeding a stray kitty at Sizzler a few nights ago. He just LOVED BBQ ribs. DH was asking if I was going to give him ALL my leftovers. I said, no, just enough until he isn't hungry anymore.

More stories? Weeping ladies or kitties. I don't care.
