Yeah, we'll cut out the middleman that way.
Western Regional DG RU -Plant trades
The middleman sez "Thank You"...lol...
lol
Weegy, if you have an extra, I'd like a night blooming Jasmine
Mark
You got it Mark.
Got Dawn down for one and Mark for one. There's still one more left.
Am bringing Kanita hers too.
Any takers on the citronella geranium? There's enough here for 100!
Weege, don't forget that I want some of the citronella geranium...please, please.....
Oh yes Sherry, gotcha down. Just one???? There's alot.
I'd like to put a big pot of it by the front door to see if it helps with the little flies we get. Sounds like you could get rid of a bunch, Weegy.
A bunch, yes, I have a bunch and it really needs to be trimmed so you guys are helping me thin it out by taking some.
weege, I'll take all that you'll let me get away with..lol.... want to pair it up with my oakleaf which also gets to 5' tall. Those two are my favorite scenteds...well, plus nutmeg....well.....maybe a few others....
Sherry
LOL, you asked for it!
Louise,
I'm sorry to say, but Kanita won't be able to join us this year. I received an email from her in response to my blast emails, saying she can't come because she has a show to go to for 3 days.
Donna
Oh ok, thanks Donna.
Is Minipinranch coming?
Dawn, I haven't heard if he will be coming. Is he still a subscriber?
Eric is still a subscriber...it's minpinranch.
Weege, I tried looking at the Plant Files for Citronella Geranium and I couldn't find any flowers. Does Citronella Geranium have any flowers and what color are they? All of this is unimportant as Loida and I would like one or two of them. We will be late but we will be at the RU. Loida is getting excited about it already.
Thanks,
Chuck
Chuck, I think it's this one:

Kathleen
Thanks Kathleen, yes Chuck, that's it...I just call it citronella geranium. Ok, I've got you down Chuck for 10!?!!?!?!?
Donna, sorry, I was wrong...apparently Eric (minpinranch) isn't a subscriber any longer.
Sherry

I'd like the String of Bananas, Donna.
Kathleen
Donna if I can get away with bringing the Tradescantia ‘Blushing Bride on the plane I would love it along with a couple of crocosmia bulbs. I just lost a ton of money on some. Long story and you do not order from out of the country)
Gotcha both down for your items wanted.
Donna
I haven't got room for 10 more plants. I am in the mode of cleaning and repairing my garden from the hailstorm and tornado that was at March Air Base last week. We lost so many of our plants but we are going to let them revive themselves hopefully. It is not as pretty as they were before the hailstorm but (I hope) at least they are alive. On a brighter note, we have a new Swallowtail Butterfly cat on our rue (Ruta graveolens) plant.
Weege, Let me just have one or two of the citronella geraniums. They are so beautiful!! I really appreciate it. I am not bringing anything to the RU this time because no one wanted what I had to offer. I guess you can tell that I am a novice gardener...LOL.
Thanks,
Chuck
My gosh, Chuck, I didn't even think about you guys being affected by the tornado near you and all! Hail? I'm glad we didn't get that, I was worried enough about my seedlings being beaten down by the heavy rain that we got here last week.
Chuck - If you are successfully growing Echiverias in Perris, I would love to have some. I've never had luck with ones I've brought home from Oceanside, but your inland location is hotter and yours might be more aclimated to take our Phoenix heat. What are you looking for? Thanks, Harold
Chuck, I was kidding about the 10 geraniums! But if anyone wants 10, I've got enough.
yes yes yes Donna, I want another one it did so great last year but it died and never came back in the winter so I would love to pot one and move it to a better location in the winter. The last one was potted but too big to move and I didn't think I needed to move it as well. Yes to Buddleia too, if still available.
I just returned from the central coast on my anniversary so didn't see the post Donna. Hope it isn't too late. My red hot pokers were in the same pot and made it and one of them just bloomed though.
Looking forward to seeing all of you again.
Chuck good grief it is a miracle that any of your plants survived that. It is so scary, we had a tornado last summer too and it took out 26 power poles, we had no power for an entire day and several others in town had no power for several days in the middle of August. Another strange weather phenomenon.
Dawn,
You can have both the Plect. and a Buddleia. Is there anything else on my list you want?
Donna
Just noting here that I have packed some morning glory seeds for Dawn that I'll be bringing.
I did participate in a tropical co-op and had them shipped to CA. Will see what condition they are in when I arrive and may bring some to donate.
Because I am not actively gardening at the CA house there is nothing I want in trade. Will just bring what I can, if anything.
Will be glad to leave here next Thur . . tornado alley at the moment.
Oh, that's right, Arlene, you're still in Iowa! The number of tornados hitting back there is incredible! I don't remember ever hearing of so many before. You need to get your tush back to California...
trying . . trying . .
Thank you guys. Marie when do you have to be at the airport? Is Rodica coming now?
Donna, I have nothing you can use? I'd like one of your Japanese Blood Grass, please.
Okay, this is what I'm bringing with me:
Mark----aristolochias
Dawn---Blue Dawn MG
Janice--Wooly Plec
Jackie--agastache, nutmeg geranium, filbert geranium (if you're still coming, let me know, otherwise won't be bringing these)
weege, kathleen, chuck already got theirs, if there's anything else you'd like, let me know, 'kay?
Am I forgetting anyone?
Sherry
Sherry ,
I have you down for the Jap. Blood Grass. I don't need anything more at this time, but thanks for your offer.
Donna
Thank you....BTW, all of my pels and geraniums from you are doing great.

I am finishing up with the plants, so if there are any of my plants you all want, speak up now.
Donna
Sherry,
Wasn't sure if we would make it but we are still going to try. I will be bringing the Polygala myrtifolia seedlings (have four). I would like a nutmeg geranium if you have any left.
I know this is late. Dawn, you can have a seedling or whatever is left. They are small but will grow amazingly fast once established.
Jackie
