I've been remiss in sending out the invites so far. Been too busy with garden tours and arboretum sales and spring garden shows....lol I just got back from working the L. A. Arboretum Plant sale for my Mum society...phew, it was a long day.

It will be nice to see you both again this year. Do we still need to send you an 'invite'? lol

Great! Mark and Camille are coming again, and it looks like a bunch of new folks are also coming to share in the fun. Just wanted you all to know that Robert Dokka (balvenie) will be in attendance again this year as he and I will be doing our annual coastal road trip again this year down from Seattle. So it does look like we'll be seeing DGers from several states again. Time is getting short so I guess I'll actually mow the lawn....lol.

OK...I am now getting (over)excited!!

I received a note and package from our very own BALVINE today....he sent me a big bar of SORBEE (sugar free) chocolate.

I rushed right home from the mail box....where the package had been sitting in desert heat all afternoon....and put the candy bar in the freezer!!! (I didn't want to have to eat it with a spoon).

I'm gonna give that sweet guy a big hug (maybe a kiss) when I see him at the RU!

Hello everyone,

I am glad to say that I am back to a pretty normal lifestyle after a very busy month. There were just too many garden events and of course I had to attend every darned on of them...lol

I just updated the head count above, so if anyone is coming that hasn't posted here, please post or send me a dmail so I can add you to the list.

I am sending out several invitations to many of the people who have joined recently to invite them to join this wonderful gathering. I also have a call into Don to get the update on what the activities are going to be for sure. Hopefully we can get this party started up again. Only 4 more Saturdays to go. :-)

Hi everyone,

I need a volunteer to do name tags. I almost forgot about this.

You would need to be there from the beginning to give them out as people arrive. I don't have the DG name tags, so I hope someone can post how we do them.

Only 2 more weeks. Don will stop in here soon and give everyone an update on the event and also post the directions to the ranch.

I can make the name tags...and if we don't get there first...I can always chase people down to give them a name tag. They'll just have to be "namesless" until we get there...LOL Jo
