I haven't heard anything since Gardenpom's post this morning...hope there is some good news!
Daily Pics Vol 72
Nah, Rose, you are doing great. My mother's husband has had a digital camera for years. I keep showing him how to put them on the computer so he doesn't have to print everything up, but he won't even TOUCH the computer. I'm going to have to show my Mom just so she can send me pictures of her bluebirds!
Enjoying these photos today everybody! The Pelicans made me laugh. :)
Pelle! Hope you're better soon!
These fellows have been visiting our little pond for the last 2 days. Look like double crested cormorants to me. I was very surprised to see them. Took this from my car window this morning. :)

Rose, hope you get some BB's in your houses! They are every now and seem to pairing up. So they will be nesting soon! I don't have houses. I just couldn't stand it if I found dead babies or a dead adult in there due to predators.
GG, I think your starting to get the hang of your camera there!
I am very tecnically challenged too. I am looking for a photo editing program that will do what I want but yet is very simple and easy to use. I don't know if there is such a thing!!I have the resizer already on our computer because of another forum I go to but never considered if the size was a problem for people here at Dave's. DUH!
Took these today of Bluebirds while I was out today.
Nanny,
Check and see if your printer included any free software. I once got Photoshop Elements with a printer. I myself use a professional program for my work (Photoshop full) so I can't recommend a program. But here is a review.

What the printer had was very confusing and did not do some of the basic things very well. I just hate having to learn new stuff like that, it all seems so confusing at first. DH is no help in the photo area. He will hardly touch the camera so has no clue what I do to them after they are on the computer!! lol
American Goldfinch - they are starting to get a little brighter & more yellow!

Windows Live Photo Gallery is the name of the program.
Nanny, I will never get the hang of this camera. I keep trying, though.
The above link is a free download of a fairly easy photo editing software package, and it also resizes. They also keep the program updated.
I have it on my computer. I also have a Photo Shop on my computer because I like to work with graphics from time to time.
You might want to give this a look-see.

Wonderful pics Everyone!!
Thanks for starting the new thread Resin!
Pelle
Hi Pelle,
Gosh, but it's good to see a post from you!!
GG
Very cool pic Debin!! We saw a Great Blue Heron land on our new pond the other day...it is thrilling to see it come alive!
Nanny, love those pics specially the BB's! We had a BB checking out one of our nestboxes but a darn House Sparrow chased it off!! I plugged the hole and just unplugged it last night. Hopefully a BB will find it and use it, I sure hope so. Also, I use Picasa to edit my pics, it is free and easy and I learned about it on the Photography Forum. I am very challenged also with all this tech stuff so if it's easy for me I think anyone could use it!
Oh My Gosh...the sun is shining...where's my sunglasses!! Everyone have a nice day and Pelle, so happy to see you again!!
Rose
Thanks for all the smiles, no kidding. Love all your pics so much :-)
Julie, that Cardinal photo is great! As far as the Thrashers go Curved-bill is the one I see the most, then Crissal.
hehe nanny, I can see him peeking :-)
"I spy… a housefinch."
Nanny, how far do you walk? I think I might have to start walking on a bike path to see if there are any new birds out there. Maybe catch some bluebirds since I'm feeling left out!!
No bluebirds in my area yet, either. So sad...
Nanny, are your finches on forsythia?
