TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Robin, sometimes you can find the fresh fruits in Asian markets.

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

Yes, yes and yes! I go to the Asian markets a lot always looking for new things to try like fruits and seasonings. But I can never read the lables on the things that I like :)

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

The closest Asian market to me is 90 miles away. So I will have to wait and check it out when I'm in Columbia next.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Kim....why don't you ask the shopkeeper, or take pics of them and post them here. One of us might be able to help.
I once walked into a Chinese market, owners asked me where I'm from...expected them to know where Singapore is...and all I got were blank stares! Until I had to pronounce it in Mandarin!!
Sinchiapour!!!

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

Now that is too funny, Jaye! I wonder if I asked them at the Chinese Restaurant where we eat if they would sell to me! HA HA HA The owner went back to China, so I don't think her Sister would. :(

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Try Tammy, many Asians love to introduce to others what they actually eat!!

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

Well, she was nice and gave me one of the Chinese Cucumbers they had growing on the vine last year, so she might! :) I tried to get her to let me pull some of the variegated grass this Fall, but it was a no go! LOL We have been eating there for many years, and the owner would always run off with Sienna when she was a teeny tiny baby so we could eat! Of course, she did it cause she wanted her, too! :) We ate in there quite often when I was pregnant, and after, but not as much now.

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

Yes ,haven't had buckwheat panny cakes since I was a small kid, they were always very heavy,so thats why my granny always let me load up on the Karo syrup!!!!!
Well it was actually boiled sugar, with a dash of vanilla!!!!!
Wow,those are times long past and forgotten, thanks for the memories!!!!

Well planted a bunch of Buckeneer palm seeds to day, this makes about 400 to 500 seeds planted,I'm having just spotted germination ,but if every thing does pop,I'll have to spend a month potting up,oh man I can feel the backache coming on now,why does a simple task always hurt so bad!!!!LOL
Well spent all day watering, now must go to wallys and buy some food for the next week, feel like I need a nap, can't hardly stay a wake today,I think all that oxygen in the greenhouses, make me sleepy!!!!LOL

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

That is one sweet tree Don, I'll come help you pot them up.

psst. Hey, ladies as I'm helping Don and keeping him busy, you sneak in and raid his place.

That was some of the best syrup money can't buy.

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

500?????
Don, if you need room, there's plenty here.

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

Yep, ready, willing, and able, Sis! HE HE HE
Ditto to what Jaye said, too! :)

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

Here tooo! Jaye what a good idea..I am going to try to remember to put my camera in my bag.

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

No room for camera's, Kim, gotta leave all the room for plants! HE HE HE

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

What was I thinking :~)

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Kim...bring the camera with you, we can't name all the plants TMan has in his 3 gh!

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

Well he surely has tags on them! LOL

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Thats what PF and google is for.

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

Does his bird attack???
:^)

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

They might! LOL I think he has like 5 of em! :)

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Open one green house let them fly in there, clean out other 2, when that is done let birds fly in empty gh and then clean that one out. easy. lol

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

Easy as chocolate pie! :) Man, that sure sounds yummy bout now!

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

You girls are mighty crafty...hehehe ;0)

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Kali made chocolate cake today, that was good after dinner.

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

We've been planning on the raids for quite some time and each one has been different.

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

You could go in at night when he's in bed and use night vision goggles to help you see. hehehehe

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

I bet his birds are 'watch birds'! LOL

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

LOL. Make a move and they will scream unless you give them their favorite foods.

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

Too funny!

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

Just be sure to have some grapes and stuff on hand to keep em quiet!!!

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Maybe we'll get lucky and the birds will be under covers.

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

But they will wake up when they hear you.

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Maybe, be sure to bring the silencers.

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

HE HE HE

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

You girls better make room, because you all will be getting palm seedlings before too long!!!!And maybe a few other items as well!!!
Tags,what are tags?????
I use the plastic knifes you get from fast food restaurants to mark my seedlings!!!!lOL

Chocolate cake, hey come on over, and take what you want!!!!!!

You bring grapes, spike said they better be black grapes!!!!

I think 3 more trips to walmart, and I'll own them!!!
$180 to $200 a week, every since they have been in town!!!!!

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Don the cake is great and my dgd even decorated it with marshmallows. a big heart in the middle.

Thank you so much, plastic knives, never thought of that. I cut milk cartons up, they are flexible, but I like that knife idea.
