Freezing drizzle outside,looking toward springtime!

It means confused, stupid acting or moronic.

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

Thanks Robyn..right now i'm working on geting a switch off my FC tree Ha!!!

Rio Rico, AZ(Zone 8a)

So sorry...did not mean stupid or moronic...in our house twitterpated means "eeeewwww-ish and goosepimply" "yuck syndrome". Which is kinda how I felt when you guys were talking about eating squirrels. Guess I'll keep my comments to myself.

Yokwe,
Shari

.
Thanks Karen. That agave is about 15 years old.

Hey...don't knock down tripe! That feeds a lot of starving people. I like tripe curry.
Traditional andouilles, origin France....are made of large intestines and stomach of the pigs. But the Cajun nowadays, use pork butt, some fat and shank, liberally spiced

Desoto, TX(Zone 8a)

Same definition for us as Shari gives. Not likely to find us eating squirrel as it is actually a bushy tailed rat. Wouldn't eat wild caught catfish for the same reason...bottom feeder. Neighbors have brought menudo to us as a gift. (?) Can't get past the smell..very twitterpated for us. Think groundhogs are also considered a rat.

(Kim) Philadelphi, PA(Zone 6a)

It also make a great pepper pot soup! :)
Tripe that is.

Don, I want to thank you so very much for being a kind and generous host and allowing me to talk on your threads. Jaye, Kim, Tammy and others, thank you for sharing your witt, your graciousness and your knowledge.

In the past 24 hours I have been accused of being redundant, ignorant and twiddlepated by people from the tropical areas. I will not be back on this forum again.

Thank you and good bye.

Desoto, TX(Zone 8a)

Robyn, I believe you have completely misunderstood. I immediately apologized for being snippy on the other thread. I don't know where you got the "ignorant" and twitterpated is a silly word that is often used on British comedies. Shari explained what it is an eeewwwwuuui, yucky factor about eating certain things. We all have those kinds of feelings about certain foods. Lots of little kids won't even eat peas. Sometimes, we as females get our feelings hurt on certain days when no one, and I mean no one meant to hurt you. These comments are not "about" anyone. Just different ones expressing their thoughts about their food dislikes. Please reconsider.

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

Robin, we love you and don't want you to leave the 'special places' that you visit!

Bushland, TX(Zone 6a)

Remember friends,we all want the same things in life, different words have different meanings in different parts of the world, and I don't think anyone here wants to hurt there feelings of there tropical friends,Here again,I won't eat tripe, probably because my folks never ate it,but Liver,we ate it once ever week growing up,liver and onions ,fried taters and brown beans,oh man there ain't any better eating!!!!!
Kind of like one mans junk is another mans treasure,as the ole saying goes, and we've all been there,so Robyn please come and rejoin our friendship!!!!!!
Remember everybodys taste buds are different,I don't expect you to like what I eat,or should you expect me to like what you eat,it's just a part of life.
So pretty please,!!!!!!!
I'd hate to have to get in my car and drive to MO,especially after getting 2 inches of snow tonite, but there saying low 50's tomorrow!!!!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Please Robyn, for Patti's sake if not for ours!
I don't want to hear Patti having to nurse Don just because he got to haul his behind to get you!
Who's going to be my partner in crime to haul off Don's goodies, especially when Tammy won't let go of her beans?????

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

She did say she would cook you a meal after all, Don! :)

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

Hey Now! I am gonna come and whoop up on you missy! :)

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Lets all take a DEEEeeeeeeeeeeP breath and remember we are communicating on a machine that can't show smiles nor grins...that can't project laughter and we are all strangers.... No one wants to hurt anyone!!!

Aloha....hahahahaha

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

Terri what you doing over here? LOL I like your English apples me dear! Gonna send me one? HE HE HE :o)

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Back in Singapore, with 80* weather all day, all year long, it's impossible to grow apples. But we do have what we call "Malay Apples", or in some other South East Asian countries, rose apples.

Thumbnail by heavenscape
Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

Jaye, they look like peppers. :o)

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

You have an odd imagination, Tammy!!!!!!
They smell like roses! Crispy and juicy too! We'd pick them and have a small dish of soy sauce ready. Red ants are always making trails on the trunk fighting for the freshest!!!

Saint James, MO(Zone 6b)

Here DH just got me called odd! HE HE HE Cause he was the one that said it! :o) Although, I did agree with him! HE HE HE I would LOVE to have some of those the way you have described them!

Pittsburg, MO(Zone 6b)

Jaye those look heavenly almost like a pear.

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)
