This was all I found and it deals only with the snow for January, actually the lack of it:

Today's Weather in Your Garden - 11
Pirl, thank you....but I don't see alot of choices! Sit and be depressed(done that) or smile and remember that spring WILL come. Besides, this last storm was sticky stuff and DGD's got to make a snowman finally!!!!
That's what I really want to do - build a snowman with my DGS!
Jammies days for sure. I have heard we are due for more this weekend. I told DH it's a good thing we didn't schedule any work days this week, I would have just had to call us in "snowed in" anyways.
Have you ever lived in a warmer area or even a colder one?
I was raised near Toronto, about 5 hours West and Southish, it was milder because of the lake effect. Never lived anywhere colder, don't think I'd want to...lol
I can understand it perfectly!!!
Can't say I blame you 3G's, never lived anywhere else but Maine but boy have I dreamed!!!!!!
Me too!!!
Right now New Zealand is looking good...
Hawaii for me....someday I hope to at least visit!!
I'd love to go to Hawaii!!
England is nice too, already playing in their gardens there. (sigh)
I guess Vancouver would be Canada's place to be to avoid winter, but it is awfully expensive. As much as I'd like to relocate, I can't see me leaving on account of our Health Care program.
We loved both Hawaii and Vancouver. To us Vancouver was more fun.
really? I would have thought Hawaii would have been the funnest.
I always thought San Francisco had the perfect weather for me.
Welcome Mamasita. Glad you are with us! Pixie - Glad you didn't get as much snow as forecast but 7" is still enough on top of all you already have. 3G's - you have my sympathy in your time of being snowed in!! I'm not LOL!! Hope you get shoveled out by June!! Eleanor
Hope the horse can swim, Sherrie.
I really felt bad for him, he looked so panicked as he was surveying the deep ditch his truck was in and the long line of cars forming.
DH tried to console him, telling him it happens to the best of us. I don't think it was helping until DH pointed out that it could of been worse. He only had one back tire down in the ditch, and the other side of the truck missed the telephone pole by inches. It really could of been worse.
Close call!
Victor, we're at 380 posts.
Okay - here we go:

Before I head over to the new thread, I want to say welcome to mamasita. No matter how cold it is outside, you'll find it warm and friendly here!
