Sad news. I received a private e-mail from Tammy last night.She has many issues at home to deal with right now. I doubt she will be back with us any time soon. She filled me in briefly and I agree with her decision to keep her focus at home right now.

As far as I can tell, the dog is okay. I may be hearing from her later today but maybe not until next week. She is okay so we need not worry about her. I'll keep you posted as to her well-being.

Thanks, Celia, for telling us about Tammy. When/if you talk to her, please tell her that she will be in my thoughts and prayers. I really don't know anyone who doesn't have "private issues" to deal with but some are worse than others. We all have to keep our priorities straight and tend to "first things first", don't we?

I couldn't just let it go and leave you hanging and wondering. ;-) I'll let her know what you said. . She has made some good friends here, as have I.

Well..I survived Wallyworld another Friday!! LOL.
Had a strange thing happen there today. The more I think about it, the more I think I was propositioned!! I don't really want to go into it here. I handled it, and he left. Was kind of scary though. And it was right in the store too! Oh well..there are all kinds out there!
We usually eat out on Friday nights, and Dave will be home soon...so that's good! I'm hungry!!! LOL!!

I'm assuming that Dave wasn't with you when you that happened, Marcy? I know it probably made you angry once you thought about it. You can always report someone like that to the people at the Customer Service Desk if it gets out of hand. Pau is always telling me to keep my eyes open when I am out in public by myself. He says I don't pay enough attention to what is going on around me and he is probably right. I just go on my merry way, thinking about what I have to do, etc., and I really don't pay that much attention to the people around me. Anyway, Marcy, you and Dave have a good evening out!

Well, it was sleeting here earlier, but it has stopped now. I think the southern part of the state got more of it than we did, which is unusual. I'm just glad it is going to be warmer tomorrow--according to the weatherman.

We had fun here today! Yeehaw!! Took my car up to the Firestone place to get my tire fixed, it was going to take awhile, so we walked on downtown. First stop, talk to Wind Power Electric about how they installed my dishwasher. Can't get out till Mon. O.k. then...walk over to Guys and Gals, make an appointment to get my hair cut, then head to the Hallmark store. Get a couple cards, inquire about a tart warmer, they have none. sigh. Walk on back, my tire is done and is now on my car. Come on home, have some soup for lunch. Decide to try and thaw out the rubber hosing enclosed in stainless that brings water from sink to dishwasher. I'm in the living room and I hear water gushing. What the h-e -double toothpicks? Then my husband is yelling my name. Something happened to the rubber hosing enclosed in stainless steel and water was going everywhere. These old hardwood floors aren't exactly level, so there's some that ran and some that puddled. I had this house all re-plumbed, so you'd think I'd have a shut off at the kitchen sink, right? Wrong!! In the meantime, more and more water is gushing and running thru the cracks in between the hardwood and just pouring into the basement. Finally I told my husband to shut it off at the main (which is inside, back room of the basement)!! Then we can figure out these green levers hooked onto the copper piping down there. Finally figure it out, but it shuts the water off at the kitchen sink also. No dishwasher and no kitchen sink? So I call Wind Power and they made an emergency run here. Right now it's capped off. He'll be back on Mon. to fix it. Then the t.v. repairman calls. His daughter was in an accident, so he can't be here on Mon. He'll be here on Fri. instead. sigh. If it's not one thing, it's another. Was snowing here earlier, now it's stopped. It's supposed to snow about 2", so we'll see I guess! My feet and my toes are freezing!!

Okay, I did it! Whew! I posted on the whining thread.

I had a okay day. Nothing much happened except my alcohlic brother called me 4 times. He only does that when he's trying NOT to drink. He had some minor surgery and has to be off work for a few days and that's when he gets in trouble. When he's left alone. So, we talked. And talked. And talked.

We also laughed a lot. We do THAT on a regular basis. He's a very funny guy!

I think I may turn in early tonight. Kind of worn out from all that talking.

It seems that everybody has turned in early or either they found something good to watch on TV or maybe they are just having some quality time with family. That's always a nice thing. I'm going to turn in soon, myself.

Hey Terry! I stayed up till about 1 am, then got woke up by the puppies before 7! Their beloved Mommy had soaked the cage, so they got a baby wipe bath, and actually loved it!

DH is still in the shower so we're not going for a minute or two. He always has to have his 30 mins in there. Something about having only 5 minutes in a Navy shower.

How is the mommy doing? Is this something from eating the hyacinth, or does she usually wet all over? Not good, not good. How old are the pups now? Too soon to actually give them a bath? I have no clue on anything like this.

5 MINUTES???? That's it? No wonder they wear their hair so short, eh? LOL

I love long, HOT showers!
Terry, she has always had trouble 'containing' her bladder and bowels, but it is worse since eating my Hyacinth. She isn't sick at all, though. And she didn't learn a THING cause she was eating on plants I was repotting yesterday! They are still a bit young for an actual bath since it is so cold, I wouldn't risk it. I was surprised how well they took the wipes, though.

I'm kind of surprised, too. But then, that's how momma does it, right? I have to so that with my cats as they are so big.

Yes, Terry, 5 minues. A "Hollywood" shower is 10 minutes.

And if she's like a human female, her bladder will never be the same after having babies☺

I'm jealous, Tammy. You have puppies to cuddle and play with (when they are older). I love dogs but Pau only wants them outside and since we don't have a fenced yard, no dogs for me! I think I need to take this over to the whine thread! LOL

Good morning everyone. Good to "see" y'all this morning.

Pau and I have had our breakfast. I cooked biscuits and our favorite: scrambled eggs with sausage, onions and peppers mixed in. The biscuits were Pillsbury Grands.)

It's another gray day but the temp. is warmer. I think I may talk Pau into an outing to Home Depot. I need to get some potting soil and peat pots to plant a bunch of seeds which some of the DGers have sent me. If all the seeds sprout, I will have to open my own plant nursery! Of course, I need a stand and a grow light and etc., etc., etc. I can see the dollar signs multiplying now. :o((

My 8 yr old dog I swear is half cat. She's always licking herself!

I need a grow light, too. Think I'll sneak that onto the list! LOL

Well, after waking up to that first thing early this morning, I have decided to start the weaning process with them myself. It is a shame that they would have to stay in there and stand in her pee when they don't even do it anymore. They are eating well, so shouldn't be a problem. They were so cute when first introduced to water, it being cold and all. Of course they had to stick their little noses in and get them all wet! LOL
Mau, you would love the puppies, but Teensy has gotten so vicious when she plays she can actually hurt you!
