Waxahachie Plant Party - trade page
Mitch I'll take whatever needs a home for ya I have plenty if room to plant stuff out back ...may have to leave Dh at TJ's or along the road though LMAO
Mitch, I'll be thrilled to get whatever you have! Is the Jamaican yellow the one you grow in the ground? Cuz you gave me one last fall which I just have marked as "noid yellow." It happily doubled in size in my dining room over the winter and is now in its new spot outside. If it's the same one, you might want to save it for someone else.
Also--I had promised you my echeveria cuttings and started them for you a long time ago. But now I can't find them. May have given them away by mistake in CS. :( I'll have to bring unrooted cuttings. They root very easily, so I hope that's okay.
My list didn't ever make it to the trade lists and now I don't know where it is, so I'm just going to post what I'm bringing here. PLEASE check if I've promised you something. If you're not on here, remind me! I'm digging today and tomorrow.
Mitch: mother-in-laws tongue, heart-leaf philo, noid red trop hib, swedish ivy, echeveria cuttings, begonia cuttings if you want them
Deb_nes: catmint
Sylvia: variegated vinca major
Sheila: pink monarda
Phyllis: pink chi-chi ruellia, wisteria trimmings (got about half of them cleaned)
bluesmaven: red trop hib cutting (will be unrooted), coneflowers, pink chi-chi ruellia
Dawn: toads
mamajack: toads
TJ: creeping sedums
Extras: 1 Walker's Low nepeta offset, unrooted nepeta cuttings if anyone asks, assorted coleus starts, golden moss creeping sedum, creeping jenny, unrooted Strawberry Sunday salvia greggii cuttings, maybe some extra toad lilies, Dragon's Blood sedum, probably some cones if I have time, maybe some August Beauty gardenia cuttings, maybe some Katie's Blue ruellia if I haven't already composted them
Edited to add: the catmint is blooming right now, and when I took them to CS last week, they disappeared before I could even get everything unpacked. These root just by sticking them in the ground. They do spread but not like the mints do, stay evergreen, grow to huge plants in just a year, bloom a heavy flush in the spring and then sporadically all summer. Lovely plant if you're looking for something to grow fast and fill a bed. They take full or partial sun.

Pattie, I'll take any creeping sedums that you just have to get rid of.
LOL, TJ. Added you.
pbtxlady - Nope this is a whole new baby - really good roots bo leaves,,, but a nice one all the same.
Mama - the rose is spoken for already - between dmail and here everything is going fast!
Blues - The Salvia is yours. Do you ahve anything tropical or houseplant trade wise?
TJ would trade off my son to ya but the wife would kill me and I am not sure that he would not amke more work for you...
Christi - all the 100 dollar bills that I find in the garden growing are yours, and the 3 dollar bill, and the 7 seven dollar bills . . .
Ha Ha Mitch! You're boy is welcome over at my place any time!
I don't have anything that I know of that would work as a houseplant. I don't have plants in my house anymore because we kept getting gnats breeding in the pots. How about some fennel, dill or parsley? Do they grow ok inside?
Not really - dont worry about it if I was staying put and not moving I would love the herbs.
Mitch, I've still got that Cast Iron Plant, if you want it. I can also give you some small Pussy Ears, if you want those.
No Cast Iron Plants! Gave the last one I was given to Christi :-)
A Pussy Ears would be great - thank you.
Finally posted a few things up for grabs. Not looking for a whole lot in trade. Didn't have much time to gather stuff but have it posted with the other trade links.......
Oh and I have about 6 or 8 small cans of recycled coffee grounds also.
