Sorry, I missed something. Humungous rats? I don't believe they're on the ballot. x, C
Water Cooler - 4
Aren't they? Hmmmmmm
Jersey has had two legged rats for years.
Maybe my pop-up blocker blocked "him" - what I saw was more of an "it". LOL this whole thing - the election thing - strikes me as such a joke. I talk to people all the time who aren't voting because they can't decide or they don't have time or some other silly reason. My 17 yo dd is mad as heck that she won't be 18 in time for the primaries.
Sorry, bad bad Carrie. No more politics. x, C
Saw many rats over the years in NYC - especially in the subway. I once saw a 'river' of them running where some construction was going on near work!
A river of rats. wow.
Yea, they're always in the tunnels, actually we did invade their home... I guess we made it too noisy for them down there! lol! ☺
Thats down-right disgusting!
All God's creatures!
He must love them too... he sure made a lot of 'em! ☺
We had quite a few in our basement at work because we had a well under the bldg and they stay near water sources. I named a few.
I'm getting visions of 'Ben' here... Yes, it's the water they stay near, when they install new sewer or water pipes in a block watch out! ☺
Yes - that was the construction I was referring to. Hmm - there was this cute white one...
Czervick Construction?
I know that one! Saw her at the Bleecker st. station the other day... ☺

Did you notice that those big furry suckers were from the Gulf Coast???? Well, that's me, Baby!!!! I won't miss them!!
Usually the NYers end up in FL, not the other way around!
- I thought they were going to 'Jersey. ☺

Are they on the ballot? xx, Carrie
NJ politics would improve its ethics with this crew!
LOL!
WC2, no fair editing your post so I don't know what I was talking about!
x, C
Victor and Dave....LOL! They have Rats in politics everywhere, I guess! Today we got a sample ballot to prepare us to vote on the 29th........you know, the vote that won't count?! I think after the 2000 debacle down here, they've decided to teach us what we are supposed to do. We can vote early here......starting Monday, I think. I like the excitement of election day....always have.
I find it interesting that one of the government agencies that warns us of flooding happens to be called NOAA - pronounced 'Noah'! Only the government would think of that. They could easily have put the 'atmospheric' before the 'oceanic'.
Clever, Victor! So what did you make for supper tonight??? Pasta and salad here.
No - my wife takes the weekends. Peas and pasta shells.
Our menus were close!
Baked Ham, garlic mashed potatoes, fresh broccolli, pineapple, homemade bread and apple pie Al-a-mode.
DH loses his appetite due to the pain meds, so I bake to entice his taste buds. I proud to say it worked!!
Yummy! I have to get hurt when I'm in Maine.
That IS a good menu... ☺
Mmmmmmmmmm, Celeste! What a nice dinner! Sounds wonderful! What did everyone else have??
Actually it's almost like a challenge, no appetite? I try to give you one by enticing you with home cooked foods that will get your mouth watering.
Skinny? Bet I can make you gain weight! (really good at this one)
I love to get 3 different kinds of ice cream some friut and a zillion different toppings....have a make-your-own sundea party. Maybe throw in some brownies too!!
Louise, the same and we had company too. They didn't mean to stop by at dinner time but once they did, they stayed and had a bite to eat too. LOL
Sounds like they had marvelous timing!! LOL
Lots of company today, everyone checking up on DH, he is finally resting so I get to check DG for a bit.
How is he feeling?
Sore, he said his ankle has it's own little heart beat again, so I know it's throbbing tonight.
Must be tough sleeping.
