Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

Now. I am supposed to create a separate list for stuff taken, right, and just leave stuff unclaimed in this list, correct?

Where do I post the "taken list"?

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

Well, let me know - I might be able to help out. :-)

Orrville, OH(Zone 5b)

Oh no, I just lost my ebay seeds too! I'm going to go pout in the corner.

Scottsburg, IN(Zone 6a)

Thanks Starlight - I'm so new to this I'm not sure which seeds I've gathered will hold true and which will give me interesting results! I thought I would have the luxury of a little downtime this winter to do some more studying - HA!

Sorry you lost on Ebay maozamom - I HATE when that happens!! Please tell me you're not bidding on anything from someone from Turkey, though, as that person has a bad rep. on Ebay (has changed names a few times, etc.)

toronto, Canada

Seandor,I will look for greys for you, I know I have a grey foliage groundcover, but not sure on ID. And may I have these two for my blue garden. Thanks so much. And isn't the chinese delph a perennial?

Seandor, I have no idea, I thought we were editing posts, but it looks like everybopdy knows what's going on, do whatever feels good. :)

Suzy

toronto, Canada

Seandor, I have stopped trying to maintain a list of tags, I am dmailing people when I put things in their bag / or post here if they are online. KD

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Who is looking for GRAY? Gray flowers?

You can sow a coupla packs of batchelor buttons - plenty of gray in those. Pull the pretty ones, and use them as cuts.

Seandor, by the time the swap is over we'll be crawling in Coneflowers, believe me! If not, we'll call Dustantkin, she has trillions of seeds! The purple comes true, it's a species with a wide variation iany given population ,and a wide ditribution of ppopulations, so anout anything goes.

If you own a house, where the pervious owner bought a pretty pink coneflower from the garden center (or mailorder) in 1970, 1980, 1990, it wouldn't be the Twilight kinds, it would be a pinky purple coneflower different than the typical purple ones, too. Every single year for 20 years, Parks, and Wayside and WFF had coneflower wars on who could have the best picture taken of their conflowers to make them look any different than the ones from the year before LOL! An increase of a tiny fraction of a milimeter on the petal width was worth a cover, or at least a full page in the catalog :))

There have to be millions of those plants floating around somewhere :)) Sometimes ya gotta knock on doors.

So we'll see what kinds of seed are floatinglaround the trades and swaps and sow a few of each and see what happens.

Suzy

Orrville, OH(Zone 5b)

Suzy the super seed organizer saved the day. And the ebay seeds come up again in seven days. I have a big smile on my face.

mao

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

Well, me . . . you see sooo many good people are sending me sooo many wonderful seeds, that I can't imagine I need anything more - but you know, something to help prevent colours from clashing, and help other colours pop.

so you know, dusty miller, and lambs ears, that sort of stuff. White flowers works too,

I am not fussy.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Oh, foliage grays! I was thinking who the heck wants gray flowers???

Okay Dusty Miller type stuff, I am oin it!!! You are a good woman, Seandor!!!

Mao, I'm calling Ebay to close that auction to everybody except you. Those bidders are so RUDE! (Nothing like here!)

Suzy

Orrville, OH(Zone 5b)

I get it now. You want silver, that makes sense. I thought you were going gothic with the gray.

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

i am sorry, didn't mean to confuse anyone. lol

Orrville, OH(Zone 5b)

Do that Suzy and I'll send you a cape. Every super hero needs one.

mao

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

Hey - I coined the name Mighty Illoquin - and I want credit! lol

Wheatfield, NY(Zone 6a)

OK, it's officially the caped seeder....Mighty Illoquin! now we just need to design a costume, come up with a villain, write a comic book...in 20 years there will be a movie.

Olympia, WA(Zone 7b)

Suzy
I am getting these sunflowers from you:
Sunflower Taiyo Commercial 15 seeds annual
Sunflower 'Pastiche'
Sunflower Giant Greystripe

Is one of them considered "Italian White?" Rachel

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Nope. But Italian White is really pretty and I'd go for it if I were you....

Your masked crusader -- defender of those with slow dialup LOL!

Suzy

Springfield, MA(Zone 6a)

You gotta love it! Go for it, Mighty Illoquin!

Leesburg, FL(Zone 9b)

Rachel -- I have a few Ital Whites I got over the summer. I have not had a chance to grow any, so i can not attest to their viability.

I can spare a few if you'd like to give them a whirl.

terese

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

TCS, Somebody was offering them to Rachel-- Starlight, I think.
Don't give up your precious seeds!!!!!!
