The smell last night wasn't propane. Still don't know what it is.

Is it still around?

I didn't notice it as much this morning. Didn't sleep much last night though. The furnace guy was thre until 10:30 checking everything out. He thinks it's sewer gas.

Oh, lovely. That has to be aromatic.

I figured this morning while laying awake at about 4:30. I think I got almost 4 hours of sleep last night! Gonna be a long day.

Join the club. Not much here either. And I may be on the road all day, in a bumpy truck, that I can't see over the steering wheel.

Cat, I'm so glad it wasn't the furnace and you had heat last night. It said 4 on the themometer here in Columbia. Worried about you last night.

I wouldn't want to be on those roads either.

I'm glad it wasn't too, but still didn't sleep much. Mostly just catnapped. Was half afraid I'd wake up dead! LOL

And OMG where in the world are your Gnomes!! How dare you not have Gnomes! I love them and you have a British Garden and no GNOMES!! Have to find one to add to that box-even though it is winter and they have all went indoors in this part of the country. That yard is a disgrace without a Gnome and very unlucky!-LOLOLOL

Sure send more snow............Mark says it gets here from the states in about 2 weeks so I think it may be on the way!! Yippee!! We did have enough to have a snowball fight.....that was fun.

It wasn't the furnace. Don't know what it was. He stayed until 10:30 last night checking everything. He thinks it may be sewer gas. YUK!!!

We had some sewerage running down the street the other day, that was further down the street though, not this end!! LOVELY!!!!!!!!! LOL

Shouldn't be. Everything is new in this house. Plumbing, sewer, furnace, elec. He even unhooked the gas line to let us smell what propane would smell like. Awful! And not the same as what I smelled last night. Hopefully whatever it is, will be gone when I get home tonight.

OMG it's -34 here today..quite a drop of 2 days ago in Florida in low 80's...better get that afghan out and cuddle up here in the office...have my 1st. subscription of backyard living and will enjoy dreaming of spring...oh to be out in the garden..just can't wait!

Was a hard trip New Years' Day though..fought storms for almost 15 hrs. - sure felt nice to see to get home...lol...nice to be away but warm and cozy feeling to be home...you enjoy your day!
