Dave's Garden Party

Cochise, AZ(Zone 8b)

I think that one of the reasons that you are not reaching as many members as you would like is that this is a "closed forum". They can only see the first post. Maybe we need a special forum for this planning?

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

If we can afford to come we will be there. I can't wait to hear more and thanks for the year to save up for it.

I might need ten years to save up if the co-op forum gets too busy this year. For some reason all our "extra" money seems to go out the window when I start shopping at that forum. Oops. LOL

Lani

Austin, TX(Zone 8b)

Is this where you want us to sign on that we are coming? I already signed up to help with the actual putting on of it...in whatever capacity I'm needed. Let me know! :-)

Connie

Desoto, TX(Zone 8a)

Soon after the first of the year you will have an opportunity to make your desires known very clearly. Just trying to notify as many as possible now.

If you are interested in helping, be sure you will be included.

Plano, TX

i would love to come! and of course texas is fine with me!

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Christi...If I can do anything from out here...let me know....

Desoto, TX(Zone 8a)

When the time comes, vote YES.

Delray Beach, FL(Zone 10a)

Hi.

Unless such a grand project is held in your backyard or if you have family in the area, this party will end up costing participants money; the further they live from the event, the higher the cost. There's no doubt about that. I plan on being there. I'll lend a hand before, during and after - if asked. However, I am busy planning our 2009 cruise itineraries. Wheelchair-acessible cabins sell fast. Who knows where we will be when the party is held? I just hope we'll be free. Given a choise between a cruise for the both of us and my leaving for Dave's garden party, I'll choose the cruise nollo contendore.

Sylvain.

Desoto, TX(Zone 8a)

We are really trying to keep it as affordable as possible, Sylvain.

I,too, pray that you will be there. I really, really, really would like to meet you and Gail.

Christi

Rio Rico, AZ(Zone 8a)

Me too, Sylvain! You may have to "cruise" to the Party!

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

Or....your not taking cruises to Costa Rica and beyond....mmm hmm...
is my jealousy still showing???!

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

It's showing. lol

Houston, TX(Zone 9a)

heaaaahhhhaaa really? I guess I better tone it down ...

KC Metro area, MO(Zone 6a)

LOL. Nah, turn it up so we can keep laughing.

Delray Beach, FL(Zone 10a)

Oh, I've been to Costa Rica (both sides) and beyond, RJ.

I even crossed the Rocky Mountains on a sizeable cruise ship. Now like most people, you're saying: "What is that crazy polar bear saying?". The rocky mountains were cut out to allow the Panama canal to be built. You sail right through the Rocky Mountains to get from the Atlantic to the Pacific oceans, et vice versa.

All kidding aside, I am really looking forward to the party so I can meet some of the fun and wonderful people face to face and give them all a big hug.

Sylvain.

Rio Rico, AZ(Zone 8a)

Having lived amoung the Rockies for many years, I just cannot imagine their girth fitting into such a tiny place as Panama! I know that mountain chains run and run and run...and I'm sure that their size probably changed...but just can't wrap my geographically challenged mind around that one Sylvain! One of those instances where the mind says - I don't care what the facts are ma'am...it just ain't so!

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

RJ! I haven't seen you posting in months. I will have dmail for you.
gail
