West Norriton, PA(Zone 6b)

Great map! Looks like I'm in zone 34 (between route 78 and Philadelphia). I'm a little color blind so it's hard for me to tell if I'm in zone 32 or 34.

(jax) Dundalk, MD(Zone 7a)

I agree with michaeljo, I must be colorblind! CapecodGardener, it looks more like 32 to me too.

Pawling, NY(Zone 5b)

Gee, not sure if I qualify as a newbie but I definitely don't feel like a mentor.. LOL.. I started gardening back in May/June of 2007. Does that count as a newbie?? I haven't done much before that. Since I'm in zone 5, would Mittsy mind being my mentor?? :)

I'm not color-blind--I just need stronger glasses!! LOL

Jsxtiger, I'm working on your seeds this weekend! Let the winter sowing begin!!

Johnson City, TX(Zone 8b)

Icosden, I would think you and I would be newbies!
I hope the mentors have had some years experience.
Tho I spent 10 years at the old place gardening, I am
just now learning that I grew 'easy' plants, compared
to what I have learned about here. Now that I've moved
to a new place with different growing conditions, weather
and soil, I feel like a newbie all over again. And,
I couldn't think of a better mentor than Mittsy! I hope
she takes you under her wing, as she is very knowledgeable
and giving of her smarts.

Fredericksburg, VA(Zone 7b)

You maybe need to make a new thread, my dear, this one is getting long which is wonderful!!!

Cocoa Beach, FL(Zone 10a)

Lindy I would be happy to be your NY mentor. DH sister lives in Port Jervis NY are you anywhere near there? We visit her quite often during the warm seasons. DH was born in Flushing and grew up on the island, Riverhead.
I heard from sev, her kids have been sick and her and hobby, too. Say a little prayer that they all recover quickly. What a way to start the new year.

Hi, I am newbie from zone 9. However I am not afraid of tough seed. I do my best and if it grows, awesome, if it doesn't, it just means I need to try again.
