So many beautiful decorations and so artistically arranged.
All we really have is a herd of half working deer out in our front yard. Sort of spoils the effect but my husband is going to work on them again next weekend.
You all have done a remarkable job decorating your homes for the Christmas.
Show us your holiday decor, cont.
OMG is that cute!!!! Love the doggies!
Very pretty Debilu. I love the way glass and crystal reflect the light.
Thom, how long does it take you to set up for Christmas and then put away? That is the one thing I hate about decorating.
Deb. I'm waiting for the blue tree I keep seeing in the background. Blue is my favorite color!
Nice!!!
Thanks Celeste, I need to add some sparkle to the bird tree, not sure how.
Thanks also Anita!
Very pretty trees Debilu. I have barely enough counter space in my kitchen to come up with a meal, so I definitely couldn't have one in the kitchen.
Beautiful, Deb! Love the puppies. What about a very thin silver garland for the bird tree?
I'm with you, Anita. I enjoy putting them up. Hate the chore of putting them away.
Cute! I never did get to that eBay site yet. Do you have the link handy, Celeste?
Deb - love your decorations. They are beautiful and very festive. Pixie - your pixie is so cute!! Eleanor
Here ya go Victor:

Thanks Celeste!
Real nice, Al! Love the misfits. I love the 'Charley in the box'!
Love all the collections.
I wish I had a nice staircase to decorate, how lovely they all are.
Great pictures everyone.
OK, who is younger than my TV? (My husband heard it crackle the other day and was elated hoping it was going to die, but I told him it was only static. We do have a couple of newer ones, but I just can't stand to part with this one. Has only ever needed one repair, and that was under warranty.)
My Grandson, Jamie made these trees for me when he was 5.
Al - nice decorations. Especially love the Rudolph collection and the nutcrackers!! Polly - as the saying goes, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" Love your grandson's trees!! Someday my grandson will be making things for me - right now he just makes a mess!! Eleanor
Great decorations, Al! Your house looks like a fun place at Christmas! I also like the nutcrackers! That patriotic one is cool....I've never see that one.
Polly - we have a 27 year old Magnavox console model tv out on our sunporch. The funny thing is that it has the best picture of any of our tvs! Those Christmas trees your grandson made are priceless! I would treasure them as I'm sure you do. Pretty darn good for a 5-year-old!
Thanks
Polly - Your TV looks like it should be playing Johnny Carson all the time to me. I have a feeling once the TV signals are only in HDTV you might have to uprade - couple years.
love the puppy tree... the Pixie & the misfits!.... great job everyone... hopefully I will have some shots by this weekend... since we are approaching griswald status outside the house
I am wondering when we are going to set the house on fire... or pop some breakers
:)
Al, that's what my husband is hopeing for.
The TV is 36, and it does have a great picture.
I am so lucky I get to see my grandchildren twice a week. I only ever saw one of my grandparents, and he passed away when I was 4. My parents were in their 40s when I was born, and the grandparents didn't live to a ripe old age like we do now. I do treasure my grandchildren, and they are very good to me.
Allison, can't wait to see your pictures. We don't do any outside lights, since we are so far from the road, no one would see them.
I didn't know they made Boyds xmas tree toppers...Boyds Country Store is about 2 hours away from me...hmmm...I'm thinking a road trip is in order.
Lucky, lucky you! If you do go there, please drive carefully ... and when you get back, tell us all about the experience!
Good shot Al!! Love it! Eleanor
great shot Al
Al: I believe that you have captured the ornament exquisitely! It looks like a holiday card! Great job.
That's real cool Al. You should make that your christmas card!
I think Al should give lessons in picture taking.
Nice, Al. Did you zoom for this one? I see stockings in the windows.
