Dad is in Anaheim, CA - right behind Disneyland. This is Dad and his BFF, Joyce.
Harper's Birthday - part 3
Welcome Argyle-Dad! At least he's real, unlike Jan's recruits! They make a nice couple. Okay, here we go again - BFF? I assume it's 'female friend', nut what's the 'B'??
Best Forever Friend
Handsome guy!
I think so. :)
Okay, got it. They look chilly. Was it down to 78 or something?!!
*chuckle*
What a hunk! Tell him I said so.
I do love how they coordinate!
Very handsome Dad!
Just because we've seen a picture of a couple doesn't mean he is real. My trust was destroyed with the Jan incident.
I'll believe him when I see him.
Dave
Yes - could be Photoshop at work again!
I am Argyle and I am 15 months old and I am here to tell you that is my ever loving dad and his SO. They have been dating for 11 years and they enjoy it that way. He picks her up everyday at her house and they find a place to walk for an hour or two. Daddy is 81 and Joyce is 80. They love to cruise together. Daddy left me last year for 2 weeks to go with her for a cruise to Hawaii. I was afraid he wouldn't come home but he came home and I was so happy. Angel Babe my old sister says they do that about once a year and that they have been on 11 cruises. I am not looking forward to their cruises but maybe they wont be cruising any more because Joyce has Atrial Fibrillation and she has to go to the doctor all the time.
Welcome Argyle! Glad you joined us.
Do you consider Yankee Cat (Memory) your sister? I think she has a great sense of humor.
I live with 2 cats. Oreo & Katie but they have no interest in the internet. Go figure.
Welcome Argyle. My Crash is not into the internet but likes the mouse.
Welcome Argyle!! I love cats and must extend to you my sincerest apologies for not inviting one into my home. We have allergies here. I do have a dog. That must be a bad word to you, but I promise, he's very friendly with cats. Anyway, glad to hear from you!
Harper
Figment of my imagination. Humph!
victor's the figment around here...
Glad to see you posting, Argyle and daddy.
I loved Figment in Epcot.
yes!!!
i was hoping someone else remembered that! Journeys into Imagination - i went in 8th grade -1983 or 1984. i had a stuffed Figment for years on my shelf.
I was there last year and they ruined the ride. Not even close to what it was.
Welcome, Argyle......and to your Daddy and his SO as well. You are quite adept at typing with your paws.....that's so impressive. Please come back often!
At least figment has returned though. He was dropped for years.
But the rest of it stinks compared to the original.
I agree. Just prefer bad figment to no figment.
Me too.
Figments made up a lot of my childhood......we all had very active imaginations and loved to pretend to be different people. I even stuck a stick in my bike basket, pretended I was the school bus driver, and the stick was my turn signal. The bus stops were the palm trees along the sidewalk. Now, when we make the big turn in the sidewalk every morning on our adult walk, I still smile to myself about that bus route of mine.
Donnie driving off the deep end?
Do you still signal, Louise?
Yes to both!!! LOL
Happy un-Birthday, once again, Harper.
Sorry I have been remiss with my wishes lately!
Welcome, Argyle1, as well!
Kyleigh, Ami, Lucifer, and Sparky all send their welcomes from their 'warm spots' on the floor registers.
Thank you Candyce, for refreshing the thread. I was thinking of Harper a few days ago (Hi, Harper!), but got too busy with my winter-sowing.
Hi Sue! Thank you Candyce!! Happy days to everyone.
Sue, what did you wintersow??

Nemophila 'Baby Blue Eyes'
Nemophila 'Five Spot'
Rudbeckia hirta 'Toto Lemon'
Annual Yellow Lupine
Calendula 'Lemon Beauty'
Thanks :-)
Great list Sue!! Oh, but I'd think twice about the Grandpa Ott MG, they re-seed like crazy. I've been ripping them out for years. They'd be nice where they could ramble on.
I agree completely about Grandpa Ott.
Nemophila = friend of Nemo?! I liked him.
Yeah, Nemo was pretty cute.
